Timeskip to meeting with Gaara next morning
"Gaara!" I yelled waving my hand at the little red haired boy that was on the swing set. He immediately looked up and ran over to me and I knelt down so he could wrap his arms around my neck
"Hey Gaara, Kakashi and I have some super cool stuff to show you today" I said cheerily and he got a small grin
"We do?" kakashi asked from behind me
"Yes we do.. Do you want to meet some more friends Gaara?" I asked and he looked at me with those big black ringed green eyes and nodded.
"Okay but first.." I said as I looked up at one of the Anbu that was supposed to be hidden. I motioned him to come down and a tall man with most of his face covered appeared in front of me
"I spoke to Lord Kazekage yesterday and asked him if my friend and I could summon our animals here to play with Gaara... I just wanted to tell you so you don't attack us or our summons" I said simply and he bowed his head
"We were previously informed of this ma'am" he said then vanished
"You thought that far ahead to ask the Kazekage?" Kakashi asked incredulously
"I thought by now you would know I always think several steps ahead.. You have been by my side for years.. Summoning Jutsu" I said as I made signs and pressed my bloodied palm to the ground. Kaede and Kyo appeared and they were both about as tall as Gaara who went wide eyed
"Lady Sayuri how can we assist you?" They both said in cute little voices as they bowed
"Kaede and Kyo meet Gaara. I met him a few days ago and he needs some friend to play with... but please for the love of all things do not do anything that in any way could be considered an attack.. You are in the presence of the Kazekage's son. Also how many times have I told you that you don't need to call me 'lady' or act so professional" I said and they both looked at me with the closest thing to raise eyebrows I think you could get from wolves. Then they both turned to Gaara and bowed
"Hey Lord Gaara!" Kaede said giving him a fangy grin that made me giggle. Kyo immediately raised her paw to Kaede's head and shoved it into the ground.
"Really?! The first thing you do to the kid's show him your fangs? What is wrong with you?" Kyo hissed
"I was just smilinggg" Kaede whined
"Anyways, the black one with the charming smile is Kaede.. He is on the hyper side and the white one is Kyo and she is only slightly calmer than her brother" I said laughing as she glared at me with her vibrant blue eyes
"You are so pretty.. I have never seen summonings before.. Can I touch you?" Gaara asked still awestruck. They both nodded and bowed their heads as he went up and pet them smiling widely. I walked back over to Kakashi and leaned my back against his chest and watched Gaara being helped onto Kyo's back by Kaede. He held her fur tightly in his little hands before she started bouncing around. I burst out laughing when Kaede hit the post of the swing face first.
