Sayuri's Pov:
I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door of the Hokage's office. When I heard him allow me in I walked in and bowed slightly to Lord Third
"You called me sir" I said firmly
"Yes.. now please do not interrupt.. Rin Nohara has been captured by the Hidden Mist. I will be sending a squad consisting of Jonin to recover her including Kakashi Hatake. However.. You will be going on your own a few hours after them.. Just in case something goes wrong and they need extra assistance. You are the only other ninja in this village that is capable of using the Flying Raijin technique other than Minato Namikaze but he is gone on a mission and that technique may be invaluable on this mission. The squad will be sent out within the hour so you will leave at dawn.." he explained and several different emotions ran through my body but the first and strongest was fear because Rin was taken.
"Yes sir" I said and bowed again before ducking out of his office. I walked home thinking of different scenarios and was so caught up in my head that I didn't sense Kakashi till he grabbed my wrist and pulled me out the side of the street
"Sayuri?" Kakashi said and my eyes widened and instinctively nodded
"Sorry I was thinking whats up?" I asked and he gave me an odd look
"I have to go on a mission I will be back in a day or two" he said and I nodded again and figured he was told not to tell anyone the details
"Okay.. be safe Kakashi" I said wrapping my arms around his neck and giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Will do" He said quietly as he gave me a little squeeze
"If you get a mission while I'm gone be safe too" he said and I nodded distractedly as I carefully stuck my hand under his shirt and I left my mark on his undershirt. I gave his hand a little squeeze before he darted off towards the main gates. I set off towards home and when I got there I quickly packed my pouches with kunai and a few snacks and changed into my gear before falling back onto my bed for a nap.
I woke up to my alarm and attached my pouch to my belt before heading out towards the Mist. After running for about an hour I came to a clearing that reeked of blood. I quickened my step and dropped down looking around at the several Leaf jonin and Mist shinobi that were laying around. I quickly scanned around and was happy to find out that none of the leaf shinobi were badly injured so when I got to a man that I recognized I kneeled down in front of him
"I was sent as backup for this mission, where is Kakashi Hatake?" I asked urgently
"He went on ahead, he told me to send a summoning to request more back up they should be here soon enough.. Go help him out" He said and I nodded standing up. I walked a few feet away before I did some handsigns and slammed a bloodied hand to the ground. Two young wolves appeared in a puff of smoke. Kaede had black fur with white markings on his ears and vibrant orange eyes. Kyo was white with black markings around her eyes that almost looked like eyeshadow around her crystal blue eyes.
