chapter 25

3 months later

Time has flew really fast and a lot has happened in the last three months. Firstly i am back to dancing which is the best feelimg in the world to actually be up and moving again. It was so annoying not being able to do anything and having to miss out on things.

Secondly Nathan and i are going well on thenlomg distance relationship thing. Im not gonna lie it is hard not being about to hug or kiss or anything especially on anniversaries. We talk everyday and try to facetime every day but it is hard again with timezones and we have had a few talks but we arent giving up.

Daisey and Jason are going strong and last night he got her a promise ring which was very cute. He set up this really cute date for her with James and my help.

Also James took me to my mums and brothers grave where i cried a lot. It was good though to go and see them but i missed them a lot i was just lucky to have a friend like James.

I also visited Nathans brother Andrew and told him everything that has been happening in our life. He was happy that we were stilk together and hoped that he came back and not gonna lie so did i.

I was laying on James's bed while he was in the bathroom because he said he had something to tell me but had to pee first. I heard the toilet flush and the sink go before i sat up to see James walk out and sit down on his bed opisite me.

"Okay anyway what i wanted to tell you" he said looking at me.

"So you know how its Nathans birthday tomorrow?" He asked and i nodded confused on where he was going with this.

"I have plan and im sorry this is last minute but im pretty sure you'll love me for it" he smiled before pulling two plane tickets outta his pocket and my eyes went wide.

"What? How? Um explain" was all i could spit out shocked at what i saw and he just laughed.

"I know that for the last three months you guys have been talking over the screen and i felt bad seeing you after thoes calls and messages so i decided for his birthday we would flu down there for two weeks i sorted out everything the only thing is we leave tonight so you gotta start packing" he explained as i felt a tear roll down my face and i got up and hugged him as he laughed and i cried.

"Thankyou" i whispered as he still hugged me.

"Its okay but you cant tell him its a surprise" he told me pulling me back to look at him as i nodded and wipped my face.

"Come om lets go get you packed" he said as we got up amd walked to my room and began to pack my suitcase. I got everything i needed and double checked everything. Once we were both done we walked down to the car and put the bags in the back when i turned to James.

"You have no idea how thankful i am to you" i said giving him another hug and we hopped into the car.  James's mum hopped in and we made our way to the airport considering we had to be there earlier than departure. Nathan and i talked over messages and i told him i was just practicing my dancing when actually i was on my way to see him. The whole way to amaerica was hard especially when he asked to facetime and i had to make an excuse to not so he wouldn't know. When we got to their airport we said goodbye and checked in before waiting at our gate to leave.

"I cant believe you did this" i said to James watching the planes leave and land.

"Well you better cause its really happening" he replied as it all felt so surreal. Soon enough our number was called and we boreded the plane before i looked outside the window and watched as the land became small and all thay could be seen was water. I shut the blind and rested my head on James's should before i fell asleep.

"Melody..... hey Melody wake up we've landed" i heard as i opened my eyes and looked to see everyone leaving the plane. I undid my belt and we left the plane. We got our bags and walked outside the airport as it hit me that we were in america. A black suv turned up and james walked around and opemed the boot.

"Come on Melody we gotta go settle in for tomorrow" he said as i walked over and put my suitcase in before we hopped in and started driving as i looked out the window. It was so cool i was interrupted by my phone ringing as i looked to see Nathans fsce pop up and i answered it.

"Hey babe how are you?" He asked.

"Hey im good and yourself?" I asked.

"Tired what are you up to?" He asked as i hdard him yawn and looked at the time to see it was 11pm.

"Just driving home with James what about you?" I asked.

"About to go to sleep but i wanted to hear your voice before i did" hd replied as i smiled.

"Your adorable" i laughed.

"Says you but i really do miss you" he said sounding say through the phone.

"I miss you too but you gotta be happy its your birthday tomorrow" i said.

"Yeah i know i wish you were here though" he replied as he yawned again.

"Me too but you should get some sleep and message me when you wake up okay?" I said.

"Okay goodnight or morning and i love you" he replied.

"Goodnight i love you too" i said before hanging up. We pulled up to a hotel and both got out to grab out bags and check in. We went to our room and i fell on my bed and closed my eyes as i yawned.

"Night James" i yelled not moving as i fell asleep like that.

I woke up with the blankets over me and i turned to see my phone on charge as i sat up and streched. I hopped outta bed and walked over to the bathroom as i had a shower and brushed my teeth. Once i was done i got changed into my white off the shoulder playsuit with my white converse and did my hair in a messy side fishtail and my make up. I grabbed my present for Nathan and walked out to see James in brown jeans and a black shirt with a pocket on the left brest and his raybands on his head.

"So hoe exactly are we surprising him?" I asked.

"Nathans parents are holding a big birthday for him at his house and i talked to them and told them my plan so we are gonna slowly make our way there cause it doesnt start till the afternoon so we have hours to kill" he replied as i nodded. We walked outside and jumped in the car and ended up driving around. It was so weird to be driving on the other side of the road and the bridges and exits were everywhere. I was like a dog with their head out the window looking at everything around me. I felt my phone buzz which distracted me.

Mr . popular: good got a party tonight but dont worry I'll be
talking to you

Reject: aw thats so good i hope you enjoy yourseld tho babe

Mr . popular: I'll try but it will be hard without you

Mr . popular: brb babe going for a shower

Reject: okay

I put my phone away and continued to look outside the window at the world around me.

"This is so cool" i said to james.

"We have two weeks here" he said as i smiled. We drove around and i tried taco bell which was pretty good and the sizes at McDonald's where massive. Everything was so big over here even the cars. A few hours passes and we were on our way to Nathans party. It had already started because we got carried away. James jave me his phone to message Jennifer that we were here so she could keep Nathan distracted at we could surprise him. We pulled up at the house and you could hear the music blasting as i felt my heart race.

"You ready?" James asked takimg his seat belt off.

"Lets do this" i replied taking a deep breath before we both hopped out of the car and i looked up at his house i cant wait to see his face......
