Widowmakers pov
Widowmaker had just completed an assignment, now she was on her way back to base. She was wearing a grey coat and black jeans, if it wasn't for the fact that she was blue she would just look like a normal person. Even with that fact she still barely stood out, no one seemed to notice her she was a silent shadow in a crowded street. She was perfectly content in her own world until she felt someone tug on her coat. She looked down and their was a child looking at her with wide eyes "excuse me miss why are you blue" widow simply rolled her eyes and continued on, after a few minutes she looked behind her and that child was still following her "must you follow me child" she said with such harshness that even her soothing accent couldn't lessen the blow. The child looked at her sadness clear in her eyes, at that sight she felt something she hadn't felt in a long time emotion, it wasn't the acknowledgement of what emotion she should feel but actual emotion. She knelt down to the child's height "what is your name little one" the child looked at their feet "I don't know" "well were are your parents" "I don't have any, will you be my mummy?" The child had an expectant look in their eyes "yes, but you will need a name how about y/n" the child nodded vigorously and hugged widow legs. Widow didn't know were she got that name but she couldn't help but think that the idea was somehow related to Gerard perhaps they had been thinking of baby names or maybe her husband was still with and had helped her think of the name
Time skip to when you and mama widow get to talons base
Reaper was the first one to greet the two of you "what is that?" Reaper said pointing at you "her/his name is y/n and I have adopted him/her" reaper chuckled darkly "good I could use a guinea pig" in one swift calculated move she had her rifle fully extended and aimed at it him"touch my child and you'll be the one person who can boast dying twice" he stood there for a few seconds before walking off "just keep it away from me" she put her rifle down and looked at you smiling "let's go to our room so I can make you some dinner ma petite chou"
