"Yes thank you for coming." [Name] greeted, shaking the hands of a trophy wife.

A bunch of art dealers, assistants and famous people were here. As well as her friends and some family who came to support.

"Natsu, Lucy thank you for coming." she greeted as her friend smiling and letting go of his date. He gave the host a short hug as he complimented her on her dress. It had been the same [Name] wore the night he stayed at her house.

She rolled her eyes and thanked him as they walked further inside. She greeted a couple more people before letting security take over. She first walked over to the bar, getting a glass of champagne and some food.

She walked around talking to people to make connections. She felt successful, doing something she loves and making it in the big world. She hoped her art would take her far, she wanted to change something about the world. Something she couldn't do confined in the walls of school. She felt that school only insures that you don't fail in life, yet it doesn't help you succeed greatly either. You'll have a great life, but she wanted one where she could change the world. She went to college, she only went for a bachelors in business just in case if none of this worked out.

"These paintings are beautiful." Gray told his friend as his wife sipped from her glass. "You should really let me bring some of business partners next time."

[Name] shook her head. "If I'm getting famous it's going to be on my own terms, you know that." He sighed and nodded, Wendy walking up to me.

"Where's the Natsu one?"

Her [eye color] eyes widened as excused her and Wendy to talk in private. She pulled the short girl over to the side and looked around in case anyone was nearby. "I told you Wendy that's in the past." She squatted down to her level. "That will never be released, ever. Okay?"

[Name] smiled and stood to her feet. She left the girl by herself and hoped that didn't cause anyone to think something was going on, it was a simple conversation. At least that's what she wanted to believe.

"This is a great painting."

[Name] stopped her movement and saw a blonde staring up at watercolor painting, it was made the night when Natsu and Lucy fought in front of the girl. It was to express the emotions of Lucy, it was like she just exploded.

"I'm glad, it expresses the feeling of a friend of mine." She told him, standing beside the male with her arms crossed. "Although I highly doubt she'd like it." She chuckled, understanding that Lucy just didn't like her.

He let out a breath and turned towards the girl. "Well I'll still buy it. It's beautiful, just like the artist who made it." She lightly blushed as she turned to meet his eye. He stuck out his hand, "Sting."

She put her hand in his and shook it, "[Name]."

He kissed her hand, "pleasure to meet you."

She blushed as he let go, she shook her head and walked away. Yet he only watched her talk to another person. Yet from across the room Natsu watched the whole scene, conflicted on his feelings towards it.

Towards the end of the night he saw them talking again, trying to distract himself by talking to his friends. He couldn't help but gaze over at them often, once he saw her laugh and touch his arm he knew she was flirting. Many girls tried it on him, just her body language alone made him knew she was flirting.

He desperately wanted to go over there, yet he has a girlfriend. He told Lucy he'd cut back on hanging out with [Name].

The gallery was definitely a success, every painting was sold except for two. Yet that would easily find a place in [Name]'s own household.

"Before I leave, can you sign this?" Sting asked, a grin on his face. She smiled and nodded, asking if there was anything specific he wanted written. "Your number." He smirked, giving her a wink. She laughed but did as told before handing it back to him. "Until we meet again." He waved, exiting the door. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

Her attention returned, slightly jumping by the sudden talking of her friend. "Thank you for inviting us [Name]." Natsu was the last to leave, and she hoped he hadn't heard the conversation with Sting. She gave a firm nod and tucked the last painting under her arm. Yet, being a gentleman he took the painting and helped carry it to the trunk of her car.

"You didn't have to.." She told him, watching him place them gingerly. She couldn't meet his eyes, he obviously realized that. Had it been the conversation she had with with that blonde? Or maybe Wendy? He had witnessed the whole thing yet he couldn't hear a thing they were saying.

"I wanted to." He smiled as her shutting the trunk. She spoke a small thank you and began to walk towards the car door. Natsu stopped her and Lucy sat in the car wondering what he was even doing. Before she could debate about going out there or theorize what was happening a text message came through her phone. She picked it up and it was from Loke.

She only glanced up at them talking before focusing on her phone.

"You're hiding something." Natsu concluded, taking a step closer to her.

With his job, he's learn to be perceptive to people's feelings. It took him awhile, and he learned how to read his best friend instantly.

"Go home.. You have someone waiting for you." She reached for the handle and he grabbed her wrist.

"But I'm talking to you." He told her sternly, she sighed and attempted to use her other hand which he grabbed.

"It's nothing Natsu, honestly."

Her eyes gazed to her car as he sighed. "We're not done with this." He was about to walk away when she called out him.

"What did Romeo ask about me?" She asked and he froze. She was still wondering after he hung up on her.

"I-I'll tell you when you tell me what you and Wendy were talking about." He uttered, immediately walking off afterwards.

He hopped in his car as the girlfriend typed away. When he asked who she was texting as she quickly put the phone down. She acted if nothing happened as she clasped her hands.

"No one important."
