"You just love showing up at the weirdest times." [Name] sighs as she opens the door wider for her friend.

"I'm on break, I won't be long since I got work still left." He walks past her, eating some chips he had been holding. "What you have another date or something?"

"Better question is why are you working on a Saturday." She makes her way up the stairs as he follows.

"Important internal affairs thing, just more drug cartels." He drops his chip bag on her bed, ruffling her hair. "Don't worry your pretty little head about it."

"Stop it!" She slaps his hand away as she runs to her closet, fixing her hair. "There better not be red dust on your fingers!" He leans against the wall of her closet, watching her adjust her white button up. Natsu watches curiously as she finally answers his question. "Sting and I are going out on a picnic."

He raises an eyebrow, "didn't we used to do that as kids?" When they were younger her parents used to do it once or twice.

"That doesn't count we went to like a concert or something." She grabs her white flats off the floor. "He's taking me on one like in the movies." She gushes, flushing at the thought. He sucks his teeth, crossing his arms.

"Yeah yeah I know you're a sucker for movie stuff." He moves to her bed and she follows, placing his chips on her nightstand.

"Do you like Sting? Honestly Natsu." She shuffles to look at him directly. His onyx eyes instantly went into thought, flickering downwards as he actually had to to think.

Truthfully, he hated him. Only because he was dating his best friend and she brought complicated feelings, ones he can't come to terms with. If it wasn't for her they maybe would've became friends. He's dreading him asking his best friend out, as much as her happiness is well deserved he couldn't help but feel selfish.

"Natsu?" She called, noticing he had been quiet for a long time. Natsu never thinks this deep, it's only rarely. He blinks, lifting his head and staring at her.

"The night Romeo came over he asked me about you and I." She gives him a weird look, not understanding where this sudden thought came from. "About our relationship in high school." He runs a hand through his hair. "I don't like Sting, but.. You do." He holds her hands and her cold hands are instantly warming up. "I just want you to be happy."

She clears her throat, looking down. Right when opens her mouth the doorbell prevents her from saying anything. She stands, grabbing her sunglasses and purse. Natsu grabbing his chips and following her.

She pauses at the door, gripping the door handle. "Wendy asked about the same thing, but I told her you liked Lucy."

He furrows his eyebrows as the door opens, Sting standing on the other side with flowers.

"Oh my gosh!" Immediately runs over to him and the bouquet of [Favorite flowers].

"They're for you." He smiles down at her, looking up and noticing Natsu leaning against the doorframe and eating chips.

"Come inside while I put this in water." Natsu sees her grab his hand, the two of them entering the house. "You've meet Natsu, both of you two play nice." She looks at the pinkie, who told her about not liking Sting.
