"Are you sure she forgot? Maybe it just slipped her mind." [Name] was in her household still in her bed on Saturday. Her art gallery was next weekend and she needed to make sure everything was prepared, lots of rich people were going to be there so if this went well she'd be living properly for another 6 months to a year.
"You should've seen her, I'm sure of it." He sighed, [Name] rolling her eyes. "And you knows she's been texting Loke? Every since we got in that fight-"
"Natsu." The girl interrupted, closing her eyes in annoyance. "Talk to your girlfriend. It's been three years. Have fun today and talk about it tomorrow."
He sighed. "Alright, I gotta go before she wakes up." He told her as she finally got outta bed and stretched. A breath escaping her lips. She said goodbye and hung up, getting ready for her day.
Natsu placed his phone on the table. "That sound so sexual." He muttered, laughing at his friend. He heard the shuffling of feet as the lights turned on. Her hands flew to her face as she saw the well prepared breakfast, instead of the burnt or under cooked breakfast she usually received.
"Who made this?" She asked walking over to him and giving him a kiss. He held her and rolled his eyes, telling her that Levy actually made it for him.
"I actually have our day planned out if you don't mind." He told her as she sat down and ate. She stuffed the strawberry pancakes into her mouth and she just nodded.
Natsu pulled out his phone and sent a thank you text to Levy.
Levy reached for her phone and smiled, she hoped the best for that couple. Once she put it down, a call came through. She looked at the caller ID once she slowed at a red light. Seeing it was her husband she picked up the phone.
"Where are you?" He asked his voice groggy.
"I had to help Natsu prepared for his anniversary with Lucy, I left a note beside you." She told him, "I'm on my way back home now."
He sighed. "Okay.. I have training today?"
Gajeel likes to refer to therapy as training, he feels it's less embarrassing. Levy understood, it must've been just as hard for him as it was for her.
Levy nodded, "I'm picking you up so get ready."
Natsu and Lucy had went to Zoo, both getting free tickets since Loke requested it. Loke had decided to give a personal tour yet he only really did it so he could be close to Lucy. He understood that she was taken, he just couldn't help these feelings.
"And the newest addition." Loke stopped at the last window with a proud smile. "The red panda." He smiled proudly as Lucy pressed her hands to the glass in awe.
"It's so cute!" She exclaimed the panda casually eating. Loke pushed up his blue tinted glasses before glancing at the boyfriend.
"That's the end of the Asian exhibition, I had fun touring you two." He smirked walking the couple to the exit. Once he did he said a short goodbye to Natsu and winked at his girlfriend.
Once they were in the car the girlfriend gushed about the cute animals as Natsu couldn't stop thinking about his gesture. It was small but considering there constant messaging something was up.
"Yes [Name] I know what I'm doing." Gray rolled his eyes as he turned on the room light. "Take your time, your gallery is important as well."
Claiming she had to leave they said goodbye to one another before he hung up, a sigh escaping from his lips. Natsu will just never truly appreciate that girl.
Gray loaded in the DVD, his mind only thinking about how she was even still single. If he wasn't married he'd probably have taken a chance with her. Before they met Natsu spoke often of her, therefore Gray never tried anything since his friend was into her.
After half an hour the couple showed up and they parked in the front. "Right on time." Gray muttered sending a text to Natsu that they'd start soon.
When Natsu read the text he unbuckled his seat beat as his girlfriend did the same. "A drive in movie?" She questioned setting down the popcorn that Levy had given at the entrance. Her husband was cooking behind her, hotdogs heating on the grill.
She pondered the thought of Gray and [Name] helping, maybe she had been unfair to her. Assuming that she did help plan this.
"I'm here! Why didn't you start the movie yet!" [Name] yelled, running through the door. She sat on the car as Gray popped in the DVD. "I'm texting Natsu now." She commented, sending him a quick text and stuffing popcorn in her mouth.
As commercials began to play he sat down next to the single lady and reached for some popcorn. "You're a really great friend you know that?"
The girl smiled and shrugged. "I try." She sighed as the smile faltered slightly. "As long as he's happy with her I'll always support it."
Before he could answer the door opened, Gajeel with a basket full of hotdogs and burgers and Levy with a box of pizza. The wife sat beside the only other female as the movie began to start.
The friends stayed in the booth and made comments through the movie, eating food and enjoying themselves. Gray had to leave since Juvia got worried, him giving a hug to the girls and Gajeel and him saying their goodbyes.
As soon as the movie ended [Name] took out the disk and shut off the equipment. The three people walked out of the room and made their way downstairs where Natsu pulled up. Lucy was facing the [Hair color] girl with a smile on her face, something she's never seen before.
"Happy anniversary." [Name] smiled, sticking out the DVD to the girlfriend who graciously took it from her hands. She spoke a short thank you, maybe she had actually misjudged the girl. As the boyfriend said his goodbyes, his gaze lingered on his best friend.
