"It's 10 o'clock already?" [Name] woke up late, very late considering she had a major meeting in an hour.

Lucy of course had kept her up all night, her crying made it impossible to sleep.

She ran to turn on the shower, laying out her clothes that's been picked out a week in advance. Swiftly, she found herself in the shower and suddenly more awake than she was previous. After five minutes, not spending anymore time to take a longer shower she hopped out. Quickly she dried herself, put on her clothes and fixed her hair. Checking the time she noticed that she only had a few minutes to spare before she could be out the door. Walking out of the bathroom she went back into her bedroom and grabbed her heels. Not only that, but she made sure to reach for her art portfolio and took it with her. Cursing under her breath, she don't most forgotten about the blonde who might still be here. She called out her name, when there was no response she groans and trudged over to the guest room door. Opening it she finds the bed neatly made as if no one had been there. She spouts a letter sitting on the dresser but having little to no time while she shuts the door and goes back downstairs. Locking up the house she makes her way out the door and towards her meeting.

A few hours later, she returns with a smile sprawled across her face. Opening up her door she skips inside and shuts it behind her. She immediately walks towards her art room and spots a cluster of pink hair peeking from the sofa. Walking closer she spots Natsu's sleeping figure, along with a blanket. She smiles lightly to herself before remembering the note upstairs. Turning her back she immediately goes back to the guestroom and spots the note still on the dresser, untouched. Picking it up she unfolds it before taking a seat on the bed.

Hi [Name].

We weren't ever close but thanks for letting me stay the night. I'm sorry— it was my jealousy that got in the way of everything, to the point where it was my own fault I messed up my relationship. I'm glad you never hated me despite me giving you every reason to, even if you do now I don't blame you.

Thanks for everything, I hope you guys stay friends forever.
Love, Lucy H.

The staircase creaks as she immediately places the letter down. Natsu's footsteps could be heard from the room, he must be really tired. Usually his footsteps are very light and swift. Standing from the bed she peeks her head into the hall, seeing Natsu knock on her bedroom door.

"Looking for me?" She smiles, watching him turn with a sleepy smile on his face. His eyes were barely open but they looked really puffy. He would never admit it but it was pretty obvious he was crying, it must've been about their fight. He walks over, engulfing me in his tanned arms. His head snuggles into her neck and she rub his back softly. Feeling his muscles relax at her touch she sighs. "Do you want to talk about it?" The question is only an offer, she wouldn't want to pressure him into saying anything just yet. When they were younger he would disappear after something bad happened, she would be out for hours looking for him.

He didn't say anything, patting his back she leans a bit away from him. His eyes are open, the warm glint of happiness a bit dark. "Lucy stopped by yesterday." His breath shortened, his eyes shutting as the hands on her hips tighten the slightest. "You don't need to tell me anything-"

"We broke up."

My eyes widened, my hands pull away from him. "Oh." My eyes gaze down, suddenly feeling a bit awkward. "I'm sorry.."

He shakes his head, "I'll be okay." He pats his stomach, rubbing it over his button up. "I'm starving though! Can we order hot wings?" Smiling, I nod pulling out my phone. "I'll order some right now."
