At that moment, that kiss, that second when time stopped for everyone but for them did they realize, they couldn't fight it anymore. They, walked further along the beach, just as dusk was falling upon the horizon, and at any second, the sun would splash into the water. The rain had ceased, and the slightest breeze echoed through the sky, and down the coast. The recent storm had left the surf abandoned, and Richard and Dawn had a little piece of paradise all for themselves.
"This is like heaven," Dawn said, as she folded her arms across her chest, and walked towards the water, her curly tresses blowing in her face.
"You're telling me. I'm the one staring at an angel," Richard said from behind her, as he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, and began to nuzzle her neck.
"I don't know how I ever resisted you," Dawn said smiling, as she turned around to face him, and placed a hand on either side of his face. "I love you. I have loved you since day one, when you pulled your car into the parking lot, and helped me pick up the box I dropped after some student ran into me on purpose. You smiled at me with those gorgeous eyes, and I lost my heart. Now, all these years later, you still have it, and you always will."
"And you've had mine from that exact same day. When I finished helping you, you started to walk away, but stopped, and flashed me the biggest, brightest, most gorgeous smile I'd ever seen. You brushed your hair away from your face and your eyes lit up, and all you said was thank you. Those two little words made me turn to mush. After that, I knew I loved you, and yet, I hid it for my own reputation, and that's the biggest regret of my life," Richard said admiringly, as he looked down towards the sand in shame.
"Hey, look at me," she demanded, as she lifted his face to hers once more, "we both made mistakes, but that's in the past and it doesn't matter now. What matters is you and me, and the love we share, that we're going to share."
With that, he smiled back at her as he leaned down to place a soft and tender kiss upon her lips. After several minutes, he broke away, and took time to admire her beauty. She was gorgeous. Her fair skin, her shiny hair, her captivating eyes, that bright smile, everything. He moved his hand to her face, and drew an outline of her lips, and then down her neck, as he leaned in to kiss her once more until the rain start pouring again breaking their kiss. Richard took a cottage near the beach where they could stay until the rain would stop pouring. Caught up with the moment, Richard reached for her hand pulling her closer to him then kissing her ever so gently and passionately laying her on the bed next to Dawn.

"Are you sure about this? I don't want you to have any regrets?" Richard asked wholeheartedly, as he looked down on Dawn, and brushed her hair from her face slowly, and tenderly.
She smiled up at him and nodded.
"The only thing I regret is that we have lost so much time. I really want to be with you. I love you so much."
"I love you too" he whispered, as he leaned down to kiss her once more, and the breeze continued to blow across the beach, and the only two people that existed on earth were Richard and Dawn.
Afterwards, they laid in each other’s arms, as they listened to the waves crash against the surf. Richard placed light kisses on her forehead as she rested her head contentedly on his shoulder. No words to be spoken, their love saying all that needed to be said. They were enjoying these stolen moments of tranquility together, until the sounds of a ringing cellphone brought them back down to earth from their little trip to heaven and back.
"Hello?" Richard asked as he reached for the phone out of his pants pocket.
"Richard! So glad I could reach you. I tried to call Dawn's but there was no answer. I wanted to be the first to congratulate you both for being nominated as Favorite Actor and Actress for Netizen’s Choice Awards," Vic exclaimed through the other line.
