Thirty minutes? That's all? Gosh then I'd better stop dawdling and get the antivenin fast! To save time I climbed on top of one of the buildings and ran across the rooftops. In less than five minutes I was at the hospital. These places were the ones who had antivenin right. I glanced at my watch, which had been set for thirty minutes.

24 minutes left.

I ran to the receptionist who looked quite bored actually, " I need antivenin for a King Cobra." I blurted.

"I'll go see if we have any in stock." She didn't even look up. Instead she wandered over to a lady and talked to her. The lady shook her head. Then the receptionist came back over, "Sorry sweetie we're all out." I gave an exasperated sigh and left. Before I did I looked down at my stopwatch.

23 minutes left.

I grit my teeth and pressed on ward. There was no way that we were going to die. No way.

"The next time I see Slade I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind. In the form of a big rock." I thought bitterly.

As I walked down the street, a wave of pain suddenly hit me. I ducked into an alley. I clutched my shoulder as my knees buckled beneath me. If the pain had been mine it would've been two times as bad. But this pain was not mine, it was my brother's.

Far away in the titans tower my brother lay dying. All I can do right now is get the antivenin and get back in time. Before it's too late.

The clock was ticking. And time was not on my side.
