Venom: A Teen Titans fan fic: book three

Chapter 12

Aqua. 

I stood in my room looking out of the window. I thought back to the first time I'd met them. Closing my eyes, I mentaly went through what I was going to say. But maybe I wouldn't have to say it. Maybe Slade would come and make it look like a kidnapping. The only problem is that Robin knew. I didn't know how he did but he did and that wouldn't change anything. My thoughts drifted back to the night our parents were murdered. 

Richard and our parents were going on the tripize that night. Then I was going to do my tightrope dancing act. As I was getting ready I heard people gasp. I ran out just in time to see my parents slam into the ground. I tried to scream but I had lost the ability to. For the next two years I wouldn't be able to speak at all. Zucco, the man who'd cut the ropes, took me away from my brother that night. Put me in Arkham under the name Sarah Louw. Then one day when I was thirteen I was taken from my room by The Joker. He figured out that I was related to Richard Grayson, who was the ward of Bruce Wayne, who had connections to Batman. That was the first time I'd seen Robin. I could have sworn he looked like my brother. But I thought that I just missed my brother a lot. I asked around to see where Richard was. That was the first time I'd seen him in years. We spent only a couple of months together before The Joker came back. We decided it would be best to get to a whole different city. Jump City was the farthest away my foster parents could afford to get me. I was sixteen by then. I was on the ship getting here when Slade attacked me. And it hadn't been the first time. 

So now I'm here, waiting for my fate. I can't stall any longer. It seems that my story with the Teen Titans ends here.
