Venom: A Teen Titans fan fic: book three

Chapter 11

Robin 

I was walking around the beach, not knowing if I was alive or dead. The sun was bright and brought a warm feeling to my skin. After walking around for a few more minutes I saw two figures. One was on the ground staring at a bottle in their hands. The other was standing with their arms crossed. 

Slade and Aqua. 

"So what will it be?" Slade asked cooly. 

"How do I know that this will bide Robin more time?" Aqua frowned. What was going on? 

"You have my word. I van get you if your dead now can I?" Slade was trying to, save me? 

"Aqua whatever he's planning don't do it!" I screamed, but it seemed like I was invisible. 

"I have to be able to say goodbye to him......." Aqua looked like she was about to cry. I backed away shaking my head. No, she couldn't! She couldn't give herself up for me! 

"I will give you that much time but then you MUST come with me." 

"I'll do it." She looked up at Slade with a detirmind look on her face. 

"NO!" I sank down to my knees in an unexpected wave of pain. Darkness began to overcome my vision. Soon it consumed everything. The next thing I know is I hear the beeping of a heart moniter. I slowly opened up my eyes. Raven and Kid Flash were in the room. Raven was loading a needle with the contents of the bottle Aqua had had on the beach, "Wh-where is Aqua?" I coughed out.  

"She's in her room resting, she said she'd found this." Raven held up the now empty bottle, "It will give you more time until the Titan's East get here with the antivenin." 

"I-I have to t-talk to her." I tried sitting up. My arms were too weak. 

"I'll go get her!" Kid Flash flash ran out. A few minutes later he came in walking, leading Aqua. She looked so pale, so fragile, as if you touched her she'd break into a thousand pieces. I'll bet that's what I looked like too. 

"Robin." Aqua took a step foreward, stumbled, then caught herself. 

"Please, d-don't go. I n-need you." 

"I had to save you. There was no other option. I'm sorry." She whispered. She pressed her forehead against mine, "Take care of the others, and if I someday have to fight against you. Just know that I love you." Then she left. 

I wished there was something that I could do, but when Slade makes a deal he makes sure the person on the other end would uphold it too.
