Beast Boy:
I couldn't find her. I'd checked everywhere. She was no where to be found. To be honest I'd feared the worst. That Slade had taken her.
"Raven! Have you seen Aqua!?" I popped in at the infirmary.
"She's in her room. Why are you looking for her?" Raven deadpanned.
"Uh...just concerned is all....ummmm..I'm gonna go..." So I ran down to Aqua's room. I knocked on the door franticly.
"Who is it?" Aqua asked through the door. She sounded scared.
"Just me, Beast Boy." I pressed my ear against the door. I heard her breath a relieved sigh.
"Come in." She called. I entered the room cautiously. Aqua sat in a chair near her window, "Hey."
"Hey." I smiled awkwardly.
"Is....is Robin okay?" She got up and came over to me. We were about the same hight, if not she was probably taller.
"Yeah...I mean I haven't heard otherwise so I would assume so." I rubbed the back of my head, "Is everything all right?" Aqua shook her head.
"Can I tell you something? Promise you won't tell?"
"I promise." I put my hand over my heart. She took a deep breath.
"You know that vial I found that said it would give Robin more time?" She asked. I nodded, "Well, I didn't find it. Slade gave it to me.....for a price. I have to go with him once Robin is okay." Tears began to streak down her face, "But Robin knows what I did...and I don't know what to do!"
"I won't let him take you. He'll have to go through us first." I smiled and pulled her close. We stayed there for a few minutes, then she pulled away. Aqua leaned in and I leaned in, and, we kissed. I saw stars, then planets, then galaxies. We pulled away and Aqua hugged me again.
"I believe you. Thank you." She whispered.
"A very heartwarming moment but I'm afraid it has to end." Slade chuckled. I turned to face him.
"Stay away from her." I growled.
"We have an agreement. I intend to keep up that agreement." He lifted his head.
"No! There is no way that I'm letting her-"
"Beast Boy, I'll be fine." Aqua interrupted.
"But-" I began. Slade grabbed Aqua by her arms and dragged her away.
And I just stood there. Doing nothing to stop him.
