Aqua
I ran as fast as I could, which wasn't very fast. The pain was so great that I saw black spots on my vision. Several times I had to stop and rest. I cursed my weakened state and forced myself to keep going each time.
"At this rate I'll never get there in time." I thought bitterly. Maybe I should've gotten Kid Flash to take me back to the tower first....oh well nothing I can do about it now. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, concentrating on the energy emanating from Robin, "Are you all right?" I asked.
"F-fine. Just a a little b-banged up th-that's all." Robin tried to sound confident but I knew he was just trying to reassure me.
"Your not fooling anyone. Especially not me. I can feel your pain remember? Just hang in there okay? Don't die on me before I get there." On the outside, I frowned.
"I'll t-try."
"There is only do or do not. There is no try." What possessed me to quote Yoda I don't know. But I think it was to make Robin know that I was doing okay too.
"Whatever y-you s-say, Aqua." I could here the slight smile on his face and I couldn't help but let a few tears fall. Then I opened my eyes.
"Yeah sure. Whatever I say." I whispered.
The entire world just felt hopeless. Utterly hopeless. If my brother died, then I would too. And with not only one but two fallen members, how would the Titans stay strong?
I was determined to never let them find out.
