Why? - Chapter 7

The way the girls eyes light up when i said your safe, broke my heart. What did she do for her to make her family disown her?

"Ellie, what did you do to make your family disown you?"

"I don't know. I came home from school and they just told me to go and never return. So that's what I did. I don't have any clothes or anything. I just ran."

Wow. I am speechless. What made her family just hate her like this? If my family did this, i wouldn't be able to llive with my self. I look at Ellie and give her a small smile.

"How about you stay with me for a little while?"

When I said that, a huge smile was plastered on her face. She nodded frantically. She ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I giggled and hugged her back.

"Thank you so much!"

"It's ok. It's the least I can do."

She let go of me and looked at me with a bug smile.

"You don't know how grateful I am"

"Hehe, well, i gotta go now, i'm on a date tonight. So when i get back we can spend some time together. What do you say?"

"Sounds like a plan"

I nodded and started walking. When I reached down stairs, everybody had worried looks on their faces.

"Don't worry, It was just next doors cat. I left my window open."

I can't tell them about Ellie just yet. The looks on their faces flooded with relief. I giggled and walked over to Jake.

"Are you ready?"

He nodded and walked towards the door. I waved at mum and Bree. They waved back and I walked out of the door.

"So what movie should we watch?"

"I don't know. What movies are out?"

"Um, The Amazing Spiderman 2 is out. Want to watch that?"

"Yeah. I 've been meaning to see that anyway."

He just nodded at that. I have to admit, I am a fan of Spiderman. I don't usually tell people becuase of my popuality. If people in Australia found out i was into Spiderman, my popuality would go down instantly.

"So, how do you like school?"

"It's alright. I miss my friends back home. It's not the same without them. But Seeing Ben was a surprise to see that i was in the same school as him again."

"How long did you two date?"

"A couple  of months."

He nodded for the third time tonight.

"So, how long have you known Ben for?" He looks at me when i ask this question. Curiosity getting the better of me.

"Um, since he came to the school. I was one of his first friends here."

"Oh. So your pretty close to him?"

He just nodded... Again.

"You don't talk much do you?"

Once again, he looked at me and put on a small smile.

"When i meet someone, I get shy and i don't know what to say to them. I usually shy away from them until I get comfortable with them."

This time I nodded. I didn't really expect that comment. Jake come across the type person to be confident around other people. So this new information is intriguing to me.

We were coming up to the cinema and I offered to pay for the tickets but Jake obligued and payed for them. I thanked him and we went to get food for the movie. We got a small box of popcorn to share and a small coke each. We went into the room where the movie is playng. We took our seats and waited for the movie to start. I want to start conversation, but i don't know what to talk about. I hardly know him and i'm not sure what he's into. I look around the room to look at my surroundings. Next thing i know, Ben is walking into the room with another girl...

I am so sorry for the late update!! I know i havent updated my other story aswell, i havent found my draft for it. I have finally writen a draft for it but can't find it. Once again i am sorry. I hope you enjoy this chapter! Vote and comment what you think please!!
