Why?- Chapter 6

I opened the door and jake stood there with a bouquet of roses.

"Hey Jake"

"Hey Summer... These are for you..."

"Aww, thanks Jake."

I brought the roses up to my nose and smelt fragrance. Roses are one of my favorite flowers.

"You can come in if you want while I put these flowers in a vase."

He walked in behind me and closed the door. As i was walking towards the kitchen, i heard Bree and mum talking to Jake. I got a vase out of the cupboard and put some water in it. I then placed the roses in the vase. As I was walkking back to the lving room, i heard a loud bang come from upstairs.

"What was that?"

Everyone came running intp the kitchen where i was standing.

"Stay here, I'll go check it out"

I slowly walk up the stairs. On my way up, I heard another banging sound. I flinched a bit and continued walking. When i reached the top step, i slowly walked towards the place where the sound came from. I stood there for a minute waiting for another sound. I heard footsteps coming from my room. Great...  My door is closed, so i slowly opened my door, making sure it was to loud so I wouldn't scare the person. I walked slowly into my room and got my phone out of my pocket. Becasue my room was dark, i turned my flashlight on, on my phone and my bathroom door was slighty opened. I closed that this after noon... I walked slowly to the bathroom door and opened it. When i opened my door, there was a young girl sitting on the lid of my toilet crying. I didn't reconise the girl. She looked to be about 12. I slowly walked towards her, trying not to scrare her.

"Hello, I'm Summer. What's your name"

I was trying to sound like i wasn't scared. I was though. I didn't know this girl, I don't know how she got in here and I certainly didn't want to scare her away.

She didn't answer me. she just continued crying to herself.

"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you."

With me saying this, she looked up at me. Her eyes red and puffy from crying. I walked closer to her but not to close.

From downstairs,i could here my family and Jake calling my name to see if i was alright. I ignored them and kept my concertration on the girl.

"Can you tell me your name?"

"My name is Ellie."

"Well Ellie, may I ask you, why you are so upset?"

"My family... They have disowned me."

"And may i ask, what made you come to my house?"

"I just needed somewhere to hide and stay. I didn't mean to intrude or trespast. I'm sorry."

"Everything is ok now. You are safe."

There you go guys!! Once again i am sorry for such a late update. You are probably wondering why i haven't updated my other story. Well, I, have kinda lost my draft and i have to find it agin. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting.
