Why?- Chapter 13

Jake was just standing there, smiling down on me.

"Why hello there."

"What do you want with me Jake?"

"That's for me to know and for you to find out"

I am getting so frustrated already. How could he do this? How could a friend do this to another friend? Yes, I am dating his best friend after he took me to the movies... But I had small feelings for Jake... I've had feelings for Ben for ages and now we are dating again... Hopefully that's not the reason...

"We found her walking with a guy on the way to school."

"What did the guy look like?"

"Blonde hair, blue eyes... He kind of looked like Ben"

"Were you with Ben, Summer?"

"That's for me to know and for you to find out."

Oh god... What am I doing? I'm mocking Jake... He's keeping me hostage and here I am mocking him... Smart one Summer.

"Don't be stupid Summer... Were you with Ben?"

"No, I was with my step brother. He was walking me to school"

"What's your step brothers name?"

"It's Benjamin.. Ben for short. It's my fathers son.. He had a kid before he and my mum got together and had me."

Jake just looked at me with a straight face. I don't know what he is thinking at this moment. I hope it's nothing bad, because I want to be able to leave soon... But I don't think that will be happening any time soon. Jake is still staring at me.. I can see the wheels turning in that head of his. What is he thinking?

"Gentlemen, send her to her room and give her some privacy"

One of the men nodded his head and walked towards me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the room and down the hallway. He stopped in front of a door and opened it with a key pass.

"Don't try escaping because there will always be someone monitoring the halls"

I just nod and go sit on the small couch in the small hotel room. The door closes behind the man and I wait until I cant hear anything so that I can send Ben a message. But first, I put my phone on silent, so that no one can hear it. I walk into the bedroom and sit on the double bed. I look for Ben's contact and send a message.

To: Ben

Ben, I'm ok. Jake was the one with the guys. I don't know where I am, all I know is that I'm in a hotel in the city or something. I don't know.. Jake won't tell me why he has done this. I have my location on so that you can locate me. Please hurry, I'm scared.

From: Summer

I am actually so scared right now. I don't know what to do. I put my phone in my pocket and go to watch T.V in the small lounge room. I put my bag on the floor and sit on the couch. I flick through the channels to find nothing on. There is literally nothing to do in this place. I'm so bored.

There's a knock at the door and I jump slightly at the sudden sound. I go to open the door, but the door was already opening. A lady around the age of 25 maybe 26 came walking in with a tray of food. A different variety of different foods. Ok... suddenly I'm being pampered? This is strange...  The lady put the tray on the kitchen bench and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I go to sit on the couch before I look at my phone.

To Summer:

Summer, I have your location have a few people on their way to get you. Don't be scared, you will be here in no time. What ever you do, don't get caught with your phone, you need it. Be careful.

From: Ben

It's about time! I'm getting help! I'm getting out of here. I just need to be careful on how I do things. I can't let anything slip, otherwise, I'm not getting out of here....
