(GIA'S POV)

I break the eye contact and get in the line, completely avoiding eye contact with the group of boys.

Well, mostly Zach.

Out of all the people I could see, it had to be him.

This is worse than seeing a teacher from school out in public.

A shiver run downs my spine.

Not good memories.

Yet again, I remember how ungrateful I'm being.

I'm just here for food though, so is it really my fault?

I mean, I don't think anyone plans to go to Chipotle to meet the boys.

Remembering how this world can be, never mind.

I sigh quietly and order my dinner and my dad's.

As Ava and I wait for the total to be cashed up, a familiar voice springs up.

"Here," Zach hands the cashier a crisp twenty dollar bill.

Before the cashier grabs it, I swiftly place my blue card in the cashier's hand and smile.

He glances at Zach's money, then at my card, and finally makes a decisive to take my card and swipe it on the machine.

I glance at his name tag.

Thank you, Logan.

I turn around at Zach, smiling sweetly.

"Sorry, but that's a tad too kind of you." I apologize.

"That's kind of the point." Zach points out, smiling back.

"Which brings me to my next action," Zach begins.

Please don't mention me not answering on Snapchat.

"No reply?" He asks, arching his eyebrow.

Well.

"You know, food is a necessity for survival." I explain to him.

I turn around and take my card back, grabbing my wallet.

"I can't argue with that. I mean, you definitely can't argue with my boy Jonah about that." Zach claims as I turn around to see the same smile on his face.

Only this time, he is pointing to Jonah, his bandmate.

Of course, all of his band mates are trying to catch glimpses of what's happening.

I even think Daniel is recording.

Play that game then, Daniel.

I look back at Zach, and Ava nudges me with her shoulder.

"If it's an argument about food, my girl over here will definitely win." Ava speaks up.

Zach looks at her and scoffs playfully.

I take this time to put my card in my wallet and glance to see if Ava has grabbed the food or not.
