Chapter 19: Payment

Lauren's POV:

I changed Y/N and I smiled as she giggled and babbled. I hummed and wlaked to my bathroom. I turned on the water for the bath and decided that me and Y/N haven't shared a bath in a while.

I undressed Y/N again then undressed myself. I climbed in the bath once it was about the right temperature. Y/N squealed and giggled at all the bubbles. I laid her on my chest as she yawned.

My poor baby is tired. I decided to wash her hair so I sat up and turned her around. I washed her hair then let her play for a little. I smiled and stared at her in awe. You wouldn't think that her father would leave me when he has another child that he sees.

Y/N's father was a one night thing. He told me that he had a condom and me being foolish and drunk believed him. 9 months later I had a letter infront of me saying that he had left me and couldn't deal with us. He pays for a lot for her but I'm not telling my parents or the girls that out of all the boys-

There was a knock on the door and I looked up at it.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Hey Lauren. Your mom told me to ask if you're okay. You've been up here a while." I heard Ally say.

I smiled and scrunched up my nose at her adorableness.

"I'm fine. I just want some alone time with Y/N. Plus the film was boring Y/N so me, her and Nala are gonna have a little cuddle party up here." I replied stroking Y/N's hair.

That reminds me. I need to get it trimmed at the ends.

"Oh. Okay, I'll just go back down." She sounded dissapointed?

"Ally?" I said cautiously.

"Yeah?"

"Do you wanna come join us?"

"I don't wanna intrude on the mother and daughter moment. I'll go with my family."

"Ally just go get your pjs on. Then come back to my room. I'll have my pjs on by then."

"Okay." She did a little squeal.

I got out of the bath and grabbed a towel. I struggled as Y/N tried falling asleep. She was fighting so hard so I gave it and laid her on the bed. I dropped my towel and walked to my closet.

I picked out some spongebob shorts and an old 5H hoody. I started getting my shorts on. Y/N started fussing so I pulled my shorts up and picked her up. She stopped fussing.

"Mija. Can I lay you in mommy's bed then when I get dressed you can have cuddles with me and Ally." I bribed.

"Otay." She mumbled yawning.

I laid her in bed near my pillow, placing Nala next to her. She smiled so I grabbed my hoody again. It was inside out so I started sorting it out. I dropped it on accident and I heard the door open.

"No Ally I'-" I started.

I turned around and was met with Ally. Bright red and staring at me. I blushed and then she realised and rushed out. I quickly put my hoody on and rushed out the room.

"Ally!" I grabbed her arm.

"Lauren! I'm so so so sorry. You said you'd be done so I assumed you'd be but you weren't and I didn't know what to do. I froze and I just-" She rambled.

"Ally. Stop and fucking breathe." I whisper yelled.

"Sorry." She mumbled.

"Honestly. It's fine. Y/N got fussy so I got pre-occupied. I just forgot it. Don't worry." I smiled in reasurrance.

She nodded and followed me into my room again. I crawled into bed next to Y/N. She climbed on me and I smiled. Not even 5 minutes later I heard soft snores coming from Y/N.

There was a sudden knock on the door. My sister entered holding an evelope. She held it out to me as she got closer. I slightly sat up holding Y/N. I opened the envelope, carefully and I slowly read the letter.

"Fuck." I whispered.

"What is it Lo?" Tay asked concerned.

"Nothing bug just an apartment bill. How about you go down and you can have my Nutella from the cupboard." She nodded and rushed off.

"What did it really say?" Ally said from next to me.

"He sent me a letter." I mumbled.

"Who?"

I took in a deep breath.
