Chapter 37: Crush?

Your POV:

We waited in the store as mommy grabbed all the fizzy stuff big people drink. Auntie Demzie was counting them as she grabbed something from her bag. I stayed in the cart as mommy led out to the check out. They bought them letting Auntie Demzie show her a card thingy.

"Come on mija. We have to go back to the house to see your aunties." Mommy said.

I nodded and kicked my feet as mommy pushed the cart to her car. We got in as mommy buckled me into my car seat. She drove home humming along with a song on the radio. I babbled about Nala to Auntie Demzie.

"Swe swe sav de dayz! Swe 'elp." I nodded in confirmation.

"That's super cool." Auntie Demzie said.

I nodded and held Nala close. Mommy went all the way back to the beach house. Auntie Demzie helped me out and I was placed on the ground. I waddled over to Ally as she came to pick me up.

"Hello my little princess." Ally said.

"Hewwo." I mumbled.

I chewed on my fingers as Ally carried me inside. I smelt some yummy cookies and I gasped.

"Ookies."

"Yeah baby, I made some with Luna." Ally said.

"Una." I nodded.

"Yeah. Lets go get some cookies. Before Tyler eats them all." I pouted.

"My." I mumbled.

"You can have your own. Yes." I clapped.

Ally took me into the kitchen and gasped. She spun around then looked on the floor. I looked on the floor and there was cookie crums on it. Ally followed the trail and it led to Tyler in the living room. Ally coughed scaring him. He tried to give the plate to Luna but she moved away.

"Tyler." Ally warned.

"Luna ate them." He said with his mouth full.

"I think you need time in the corner." Ally pointed to the corner.

He walked over as she placed me down to grab the plate. She sighed and walked into the kitchen. I followed wanting my cookies and she frowned turning to me.

"Baby." She bent down infront of me.

"Ookie?" I asked hopefully.

"No more cookies baby, Tyler ate them all." My bottom lip trembled.

"Ookie?" I whispered.

"I used the last of the mix. I'm sorry baby, do you want some cheerios?" I shook my head.

I bit into Nala's tail and pouted.

"Ookie peas." I whispered.

"There is no cookies baby." I started crying.

I cried hard as mommy came into the room. She picked me up and I cried into her as she rocked me. I sobbed until I heard mommy talk to me.

"Baby, look." Mommy pointed to Ally.

Ally was holding Luna she held a cookie to me. I quietly took it and looked at it. I broke it in half by accident. Instead of eating it all I gave Luna half and ate the other.

"I think two little girls have some crushes on eachother." Ally laughed.

Story time. I got called homophobic. Basically I was in the arcades playing on a game. I looked around and MUMBLED "It's like Lesbian R Us." So I thought no one was near me. This woman came over to me and said "That's so rude and you don't know their lives. They have been through a lot and you could be at least more respectful..." she continued with the rant. I just cut her off after a while and said this one statement. "But I'm a lesbian..." I have never seen a woman look so shocked.
