Lauren's POV:
A few days had passed since Y/N's birthday and we were laid in our apartment watching films. It's been a great few days away from home but I'm use to her being able to scream around my parents house. I started scrolling through twitter noticing different trends. A few were on my rant I went on last night about Trump.
"Y/N mija?" I asked.
"Es?" She asked chewing Nala's ear watching TV.
"Shall we go out today?"
"We're?" She turned to face me.
"We can go to the park?"
"Pak?" She asked tilting her head.
"Yeah park. You can play." She nodded excited.
I stood up holding her then went to her room to get her changed. It was quite warm today so I kept her in some shorts, packing some leggings in her backpack just incase.
She looked really cute, her shoes were brand new so I know running in them will help break them in. I walked to my room after, leaving Y/N incharge of turning the TV off. She did it, after yelling at Nala for wanting to continue watching it. I walk out dressed and she looked at me.
(Imagine combat boots instead)
I watched her glance at Nala and I knew the question. She then looked at me and Nala again.
"No mija you can't bring her." Her face scrunched up.
"Wey?" She asked.
"We don't want her getting lost or stolen do we?" I said bending down to her height.
"No bu bu I tack car!" She tried to explain.
"I know you will but she might get dirty and then you can't have her for bed and naptime." She gasoed.
"No Nala?"
"No bringing her today. Tomorrow she can come on our adventure. Now, go grab your brush." She whined.
"Noo." She tried to cover her hair.
"Now Y/N. Go get it you need it brushing." She groaned and got me it.
As she got the brush I grabbed two hair ties, smiling when she stood infront of me ready. I brushed her hair, her huffing when I pulled a knot. I then braided her hair into two plaits, tying them at the bottom. She just kept huffing and groaning.
"Lets go." I said grabbing her backpack.
I made sure to pack her inhaler, some juiceboxes and the leggings. I put my purse in there too, incase we find some food or ice-cream. She was saying goodbye to Nala as I did final checks.
"Y/N, here baby." I called.
Her footsteps echoed the apartment and she came over holding a football (Soccerball.) I smiled and held her hand walking out of the apartment. I made sure it was locked before walking down. I held her hand smiling leaning down slightly.
"We go pak." Y/N whispered to herself.
I looked around outside and decided it's nice weather to walk. Maybe we can go to the beach soon. She loves the beach, just not when she gets soaked by water then sits in the sand.
