Chapter 90: Guardian

Lauren's POV:

Y/N was being questioned all day, she was due a nap and I knew was gonna get fussy. I was sat with Ally and Lucia, my mom was on her way to pick us up soon. There was now a huge fuss over a law case for parental rights over Y/N. Jasper and his wife wanted the rights and so did I, I had no other partner since I wasn't married. I told them Lucia and Ally are her other parents but they looked at me like I was ridiculous. 

"We should see her soon." Ally said holding my hand in comfort.

"Yeah babe, we're gonna get her soon." Lucia said smiling.

"Thanks." I muttered sitting there.

We sat for another 30 minutes, muttering to ourselves and talking in low whispers to each other, I smiled when I saw Y/N walk out of the room holding Nala in one hand and the officer's in another. I stood up opening my arms but the officer held her back, I furrowed my eyebrows and so did Y/N.

"Miss Jauregui, Y/N is to be placed with her legal guardian the one you wrote down, she is arriving soon." I furrowed my eyebrows then smiled remembering it is my mom.

The officer let go of Y/N's hand for a little and she ran over to me, giving me a big hug. She giggled and cuddled into me.

"When she arrives we'll have to place you and Jasper under supervised visits, to when the guardian agrees. Currently Y/N will not see Jasper as she is terrified of him." I nodded agreeing with the officer.

"Lauren!" I heard my mom call from the end of the corridor.

"Mom, finally. You're her guardian." I said ready to leave.

"Mrs Jauregui, you are not the guardian listed." The officer said making me highly confused.

"Lauren!" Someone yelled making me turn to face Demi and Luna.

"Demi?" Then I remembered.

Flashback:

We were on tour and Demi kept asking to see photos of Y/N making me get excited and show her. I had gotten a few documents early one day and I needed get her a guardian in case anything happened to me or my family. Demi had asked me to come see her after the concert, it was a normal thing now. We'd go watch a film then cuddle, talking about our future and relationships and so on. We ended up cuddling in her bed, smiling and giggling like kids over the videos my mom sending photos and videos of Y/N to me. 

"I got a letter earlier." I spoke looking at her.

"Oh yeah?" She glanced at me.

"I have to choose a legal guardian in case anything happens to me or my family." I said looking at her.

"Yeah?" 

"Will you do it?" I thought about it briefly.

"Sure." I nodded remembering to write it down later.

"So...What now?" I asked.

"Well we can kiss and cuddle still." She offered.

"Sure." I giggled. 

We did just that, kissed and cuddled, our relationship was weird, we both just needed comfort and after relationships, she'd broken up with Wilmer and I had left Lucia. We just needed comfort and we now were able to give each other just that.
