Chapter 32: Auntie Dinah

Lauren's POV:

Me ans Y/N were sat on the bed talking mindlessly about Lion King and other stuff. I heard yelling and screaming from downstairs so I held Y/N on my hip and wondered downstairs. I walked into the living room and spotted Dinah eith light tears, Normani wiping her eyes and Ally yelling at the other two that it was "totally adorable".

"You guys okay?" I asked confused.

"Lauren! You can't just post without us knowing. Do you know how long it takes to get this face looking perfect!?" Dinah yelled.

I laughed and bounced Y/N a little. She smiled and held onto Nala, she really adores that teddy. I remember when I gave it to her. She was litrally tiny and she use to chew her tail and the ears. That caused countless hours of buying Lion King pacifiers because she lost them or the broke. My favourite memory with her and Nala was when I was sat on the couch playing lightly with Nala whilst Y/N was getting changed by my mother. When I looked up my mother put Y/N on the floor to help her walk by holding her hands. Instead Y/N let go, in that split second I nearly passed out from being scared, but she never fell. Infact she waddled halfway over till she fell on her butt. My face that day never lost its smile.

"Earth to Lauren." I saw someone's hand infront of me.

"What? Sorry." Normani looked at me strange.

"You okay in there?" Ally asked.

"Yeah. Just thinking about memories." I smiled.

I squeezed Y/N and hugged her tight. She squealed and hugged me, she kissed my cheek then wiggled. I placed her on the floor and she ran over to her toys.

Ally brought me in for a kiss and I smiled even more. I kissed Ally slowly but passionatly till Dinah yelled.

"I GOT A PICTURE!" Dinah yelled dramatically.

Me and Ally both blushed but I soon felt a weight on my leg shaking. I picked Y/N up and held her on my hip.

"Shhhh babygirl. Dinah is just loud." I rubbed Y/N's ears.

"Sorry Munchkin." Dinah said kissing Y/N's cheek.

Y/N reached her arms out to Dinah. This shocked us all I think. None of us had ever seen Y/N go to anyone but me, Ally and my family. So this is a big step. I handed Y/N to Dinah and Y/N cuddled into Dinah. They looked cute. I took a picture and smiled.

"You guys are cute." I smiled.

"Lauren. I'm just naturally cute." Dinah smirked.

"Yeah sure." Ally mumbled.

I started laughing and Normani looked at her phone then me.

"Why does Demi want you to call her?" Normani asked me.

"I don't know. I'm gonna text her later." I shrugged.

"There's a rumour that she adopted twins." Dinah blurts out of no where.

We all look at her quite surprised.

"And how do you know that Miss Jane?" Ally asked.

"When you have a second twitter account you learn a lot." She shrugged.

I watched as Y/N played with Dinah's hair giggling.

"Maybe she wants advice Lo." Normani said.

"Yeah. Oh! I got a call from Camila the other day." I remembered.

"What did she say? I swear if she touches my neice I'm gonna kill her." Dinah said.

I knew she meant it. She'd put her family before anyone who hurt her. Dinah and Camila still talk but if she ever touched one of us Dinah would cut all ties.

"She said Lauren and I hung up." I shrugged.

"Good. We don't need the drama." Ally said.

I grabbed my phone and looked through my contacts.

"What you doing Lo?" Mani asked.

"Inviting Demi over for New Year here." I smiled.

"YAY!" Dinah yelled.

"Yay!" Y/N copied clapping.

I laughed and smiled.

"Yeah princess. Yay." I smiled.
