Chapter 95: Thats Just Rude

Lauren's POV:

"Well Miss Jauregui you seem to be following the order of the court correctly. I can't say the same for her father. He is still late." I smiled a little seeing his spot empty.

"Its okay but Y/N does have a doctor's appointment in 3 hours and I have to be there." The officer nodded.

"I understand. Miss Lovato is still a guardian of her correct?"

"Yes. She is still in her care. Demi and her fiancé are watching her."

"After tomorrow we will have to ask her to come in and talk to us about Y/N and how she has been."

"Demi has a meeting tomorrow so you will need to arrange it. Selena is with her so I can visit Y/N."

"Thats okay. Don't worry we will get her sometime."

"Sorry sorry." Jasper ran in looking rushed.

"2 hours late and we have already ran over in time. So this will be noted so you can go Miss Jauregui." I nodded leaving.

"Bye Jasper." I smirked walking out.

I walked to my car getting in to go straight to Demi's. I knew we had to head out as soon as I got there. Her appointment was just a check up and I think she's due a few needles. I had spent a few days at Demi's sleeping in her guest room with Y/N. Y/N refused to sleep without me because she was having nightmares. In a few weeks all this court issues will be over. Thankfully.

Just as I was about to park up my phone rang making me jump and look at it. My mom's number was on screen so I picked it up answering it.

"Hey mom."

"Lauren! Why are you all over the news?" I furrowed eyebrows.

"What?"

"They've found out about the court battle and everyone is talking about it."

"How? Only certain people knew."

"Someone found out and now you're trending. People are reading about it." I sighed and ran a hand in my hair.

"Okay okay. I'll sort something just make sure no one close makes a comment about it."

"Okay. I'll tell Taylor and Chris and family."

"Okay thanks. I need to get Y/N to her appointment."

"Good luck."

"I'll need it. Bye mom love you." I smiled hearing her say it back as I got out.

I walked straight into Demi's home, this now becoming a regular routine. Taking my shoes off I saw that there was 5 pairs of shoes, 3 small and 2 adult. I walked through to the living room, spotting Selena sat on Demi's lap making out. To say I wasn't slightly turned on would be a lie but I just rolled my eyes and walked upstairs. Tyler was playing on a random console, as I heard fits of giggles coming from Luna and Y/N's room. I walked in to see Y/N dressed up in her Simba onesie as Luna was running away. Sneaking in quietly I grabbed Y/N from behind making her scream.

"Calm down babygirl. Just me." I laughed making her stop.

"Mommy!" She squealed hugging me.

"Hi my baby." I spoke making her smile.

"We go out today?"

"Yeah my baby lion. We are gonna go somewhere then out for cookies and ice-cream." I smiled and cuddled her.

"Okay. We go now."

"You need to get changed."

"No."
