Ten's P.O.V.

At this point I wasn't fighting the mogs, I knew better, unless I would like to be injured again. They had all sorts of little torture tools to use. Most of them do that just to hear you scream in pain. They lead me to a room, and dragged me in. This one was different than all the other ones.

The floors and walls weren't dirt, they were cement. I could smell death all over the room. It was dark on the other end of the room, and I knew I shouldn't speak, but... there was something there. I just knew it. "What am I doing here?"

Neither one responded, but one grinned as he flipped a switch and the lights came on. At first I could only look at my feet, I was too nervous to see what was at the other end. I probably stood there for ten minutes, to afraid to look. "Well, aren't you going to see the present we got you?" The same damned commander was here.

Last time we met he tried to convince me to join their ranks, in exchange I would get to live freely after the world was taken over. It wasn't tempting at all, I could live freely now if I wanted to, I'd just have to rid of these mogs. My eyes lifted slightly to see the Mog, a blaster dangled from his side as he approached me, with graceful, but sickening steps.

"If you're going to ask me to join your fight against the last of my kind, then you must have forgotten what I said last time. My answer is still no. I'd never kill my fellow brethren."

"Tch, you act so nobel, so loyal to your kind... when really the only that are alive are a couple of filthy brats."

"Careful what you say swine, referring to me as a filthy brat won't exactly convince me to join you."

"I figured it wouldn't... so I decided it was time we resorted to... different tactics. If you'd look up, you'd see what I mean." I was tempted, but I tried to stall as long as I could, I could only imagine how horrible this form of 'persuasion' would be. "Look up you disrespectful rodent!"

He grabbed my face in his hand, and lifted my head with a forceful jerk. There was a glass wall that separated the room. On the other side Bion was chained down to a table with several Mogs surrounding him. My knees felt week. They were using my best friend as negotiation. Suddenly, I collapsed and my body was frozen. "So here's how this will work. Every time you disagree on joining us we'll slowly start to kill your precious Chimæra. All you have to do is simply agree, and he won't be killed, but of course he will be held in prison until after you help win the war."

Bion's eyes locked with mine. His eyes were wide in his black wolf form, I could tell he was scared, but ready for whatever was coming.

All I have to do is say yes, just say yes, and he'll be free. He won't suffer. I just have to kill the remaining six. Then he'll live.

Bion shook his head slightly, and I could feel tears well in my eyes. "So, what do you say? Will you join us? Will you help us take over the planet, make it a peaceful place."

I opened my mouth to speak. All I had to do was say yes... but my voice was gone, my lips moved, but nothing came out, but I did shake my head. I shook my head no. The commander sighed, almost exaggeratingly. It made me feel sick. "Begin, and don't stop until he's dead, or she surrenders."

I watched with wide eyes as one of the Mogs began to cut into Bion. His eyes widened, and he began to thrash violently, but others held him down, I felt tears fall down my cheeks as his blood began to surface. I tried to look away, but one of the mogs held me in place with a steady hand. "Now. Let me ask again. Will you join us?"

"No."

"Ten, you need to cooperate with me. Will you join us? We can give you anything you want."

"I can't."

"Ten, I'm only going to ask a few more time," his voice suddenly became stern, "will you join us? Help us take over the world?"

"No."

"It will be easy, just say, yes. We can bring you back to Lorien, we can bring back your family."

"That doesn't make up for the countless millions that you killed along side my family. You can't make up what you did to us."

"We can help with one thing though." He knelt down next to me. "We can end his suffering."

Bion, was already on the verge of death, they were cutting open his organ, and letting him bleed, one was prepared to slice a knife into his heart. Bion's eyes locked with mine again, there was a pleading for the end, I knew at this point even if I agreed there was nothing they could do to stop him from dying.

He was trying to tell there was no point in saying yes for a lost cause.

"If you join us, Ten, we can help your chimera. We'll give you anything you want. We can give you all the chimera's we have here, we can give you weapons. We can give you power, we can make you stronger than you already are. You will be trusted with great responsibility in this war, you will have a leading rank. Anything. We can give you anything you've ever wanted."

"You can't give me everything I've wanted."

"Just tell me, and we can get it for you. We can do anything you want us to do." I broke the other Mog's grip on me, and locked eyes with the commander.

"You can get rid of the Mogadorians race. I refuse to join you."

"If that's how you want to be. KILL THE CHIMÆRA!" I watched dreadfully as the knife plunged into Bion's heart, and his eye grew heavy, and his body went lip. Something was rising in my throat, anger was trying to force it's way out just like the tears already began to do.

"I'm going to kill every last one of you." I whispered as the anger grew even stronger. I leaned forward, and clutched my head as it began to ache with the growing scream in my throat. It wasn't as weak as before, I was fueled with so much sorrow and rage that I was becoming the bomb I feared to be.
