Ten's P.O.V.

We were driving by a field of corn in Arkansas and I was staring out the window, but of course I'm not a normal child so I see a fucking Piken, and some dumb ass flying around it. "Malcolm, pull over. These fuckers need help!"

Malcolm veered the car on a hard left. I crawled out the window, and clutched the top of the roof. We skidded to a stop and I tapped the top of the car, and opened my mouth letting a high pitched scream ring through the air, and combined it with my legacy to make the pain of the scream intensified. The piken's eyes exploded I saw John run under the Piken throwing fireballs as he ran and it had a spasm, and collapsed. Malcolm grabbed my arm when I'm coming down so I don't collapse.

It's been like this nonstop. Sam came around the car and Malcolm helped me stand and Sam ran towards another Garde. Her legacy was weather manipulation, and there was another boy by John, he had flight and some other legacy. John began to run towards us and Malcolm walked us towards the group. "Hey, Six, why don't you let someone else have a turn?"

A blonde girl swept in, and hugged Sam. "Hi, Sam."

"Hey. Fancy meeting you here. It's a long way from Paradise." Sam replies.

"No kidding." She laughed. We were only here because Malcolm was constantly Internet -scanning. John walks over, nodding to me, he then claps Sam's hand.

"Just answer me one question. Do you remember that day in your room, when you first thought I might be an alien?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"What did you do?"

"Um, I pulled a gun on you. Is that what you mean?"

"Oh, Samuel." Malcolm mutters, but John grins then turns to me.

"What did you do to the police the day we both woke up and they attacked us?"

"I flipped the one holding a gun to my head over my head, and began to take them down while both you and Nine laid their helpless."

"Okay, not exactly how I would say it, we were... distracted." John grinned even bigger, "sorry about that, I just had to make sure you weren't Setrakús Ra in disguise. You have no idea how good it is to see you."

"Same here. I've really missed having to fight giant worm creatures." Sam joked. I smiled before doubling over. Malcolm had to tighten his grip on my arm to keep me from falling over. "Guys, this is my father, Malcolm. I can confirm that he's definitely not Setrakús Ra either, if you're worried about that."

Malcolm began to shake hands with the other. "Oh, and guys this is Ten." John introduced me to the other three joining him.

"But, Ella." Six furrowed her eyebrows together.

"I feel like I've been missing a lot of shit." I sighed.

"We can figure this out later. Thanks for the help out there, (Y/N). I also fell because of you." John nodded to me.

"Sorry, but you shouldn't have been piggy backing."

"You're not Loric." The boy says to Sam and Malcolm. "I thought for sure you must be a Cêpan, being so old and all."

"Sorry to disappoint," Malcolm chuckled. "Just an old human, hoping to help."

"You've got a real army here." The boy says to John.

"There's seven of us here, and four waiting for us back in Chicago. I don't think eleven people really qualifies us for an army status, but thanks."

"I guess not."

"John, who the fuck are these other people?" I asked. He face-palmed.

"That's Six, Sarah, and Five." He said pointing to them, I nodded.

I pointed at Six, "storm control or whatever you call it," then to Five, "and flight and... what the hell do you call your other legacy?"

"Uh... Externa?"

"Okay." I shrugged.

"I want to hear everything about how you guys found each other." John says. "First, Mr. Goode, I just want you to know that I never meant for Sam to get wrapped up in all this. I'm sorry, I've put him in danger, but I don't think we would've made it this far without him."

"Defiantly not," Six smiled.

"Putting ourselves in danger for the safety of Earth is a Goode family tradition. But thank you for saying that, I'm glad you found each other. And drop the 'mister'- Malcolm will do just fine." We could hear the sirens drawing close.

"We should get moving." Six says.

"Our car is parked by the highway. Five can you get Ten there?" He nods and takes me from Malcolm in a bridal style carry.

"The fuck?" I look at him.

"Hold on." He replies. I grab onto the front of his shirt, and he rockets right into the sky.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! What the hell!?" I yelped as he drifted back down towards a car. He set me in the back seat, and sat down next to me. A moment later Sarah and John jumped into the front. Sarah started the car and John turned to me.

"Where the hell have you been?"

"In prison. Across the hall from Sam." I shrugged.

"You didn't try to escape?"

"No, but I learned how to shatter metal." I grinned as his eyes widened. "I can make a dog's ears bleed."

"Not BK."

"Never!" I shouted over the sudden rush of wind as we pulled onto the highway.

"What else happened, you cut your hair!"

"Yeah, I found some scissors! And this happened." I rolled up my pant leg so he could see the three scars. "Aren't these the same as yours?"

"Yeah. When did they show? I thought you weren't a part of the charm."

"They showed up about twenty minutes after I met, Sam. I passed out from the pain."

"Shit, guys there's another ship at our six o'clock!" Five yelled. I turned my head and saw it.

"Hold the back of my shirt or jeans." I yelled as I stood up.

"Dammit, Ten!" Five yelled, grabbing the hem of my jeans. I angled my head towards the ship, and cupped my hands around my mouth, and let out a silent scream, directing the blast at the ship. After about thirty seconds of screaming the ship shattered, and my legs gave out, and I would have fallen onto the highway if John hadn't caught me with his telekinesis. He brought me back to the seat. I was panting and my vision was blurry.

"Shit. Why does this keep happening." I groaned holding my head in my hands, trying to focus on breathing. After a minute my body gave out to the need of rest, and I passed out.
