Beth spent the next few days clinging to her sister like she would disappear at any moment. She hadn't spoken to Daryl since the night he had been in her room and every time they would pass each other he would grit his teeth.

It was killing her. She wished he would look at her and not burst into anger. She wanted him back the way he was before they ever decided to sleep together. The way he was at the prison. Not overly friendly but at least he would smile at her and not leave the room when she walked in.

And she wasn't the only one who noticed. Glenn steadily asked Daryl what his problem was and most times it ended in them arguing and others Daryl never spoke just grabbed his crossbow and went on a run.

But all the was minor in her book of problems. Her stomach was getting bigger and her pants didn't fit any more. It was a miracle no one had noticed yet but if she didn't get baggy clothes and so one everyone was going to know.

And it was with that thought in mind that she slipped into Daryl room that night.

"Daryl?" Beth called into the darkness.

"What? Somethin wrong with tha baby?" He asked his voice husky from sleep.

"No. the baby's fine. I think." Beth mutter and Daryl groaned as he rose to a sitting position.

"Then what do ya want. I was sleeping." Beth wrung her hands together and took a deep breath.

"I need new clothes mine are to small and everyone's going to find out about the baby." Daryl sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"They gonna find out anyways might as well tell em the sooner the better." He glanced at her in the dark eyes traveling to her covered stomach. "I was planning on a run tomorrow anyways ill grab you some stuff." Beth nodded.

"Thank you." She replied as she turned to leave.

"Beth." She froze as Daryl rose from the bed and stepped towards her. With out saying a word he tugged her shirt up, exposing her round stomach. Gently he placed one hand on her bump as the other held her shirt.

"Hard ta believe." He muttered as he spread his fingers over her stomach. "Have ya felt him move yet?" He asked and Beth cocked an eyebrow.

"Just small flutters nothing big yet." She watched his face as his gaze remained on her stomach. "Daryl what are we going to tell everyone?" He brought his gaze up to hers and she sucked in a breath. For once in the past few weeks he didn't have anger in his eyes. It was something deep, stronger than anger. It kind of looked like love.

"What do ya mean?" He asked, his fingers now softly stroking her flesh. Beth shivered and closed her eyes tightly.

"About the baby? I mean obviously we can't tell them it's yours." Daryls fingers froze as his eyes jerked back to hers. Beth trembled at the look he was giving her but she kept going. "I was thinking maybe we could say...ya know that I was raped by that guy at the drug store. That would explain the baby and why you've been so angry and a loaf." His hand dropped from her stomach and he cursed causing her to flinch away from him.

She couldn't go far because his other hand was now twisted into her shirt.

"So you want me to pretend that the kid ain't mine? Just watch you and everyone else with it and not say nothin? You a God damned heartless botch Beth Greene." Beth took a stuttering breath as he stepped closer to her.

"I didn't mean it like that Daryl. I just don't want you to have to go through this. if the group knew that we had sex you would get the worse end of the deal. They say you took advantage of me, give you he'll." She looked down at her stomach and placed her hand where his had been moments before. "I want the baby to know who it's father is. I want to watch you with him or her. Hell Daryl I want to tell everyone that your the father but-"

Daryl couldn't take it anymore. He covered her mouth with his, his fingers cupping her face. She moaned softly and leaned into the kiss her hands balling into his shirt. When his tongue rub against her lips she parted them and meet it with her own. He groaned and deepened the kiss even more before pulling away from her breathing heavily.

"Well tell them in the morning." He whispered as his fingers stroked her cheek. She nodded a small smile playing on her lips. His thumb brushed against the softly and he sighed. "I'm sorry about the way I've been. I just..." She pressed her fingers to his lips and smiled.

"It's okay. I love you Mr.Dixon." He scoffed and she laughed softly as he picked her up careful of the baby.

"Good." He took her mouth with his as he walked her to the bed. Beth stayed with him that night and when they finally drifted off to sleep she was wrapped in his arms his hands resting her her stomach.

I know it's short but I hope I made up for it by fixing Daryl attitude lol. just because I made him not mad at Beth doesn't mean everything is going to be perfect between them. Thank you so much for reading and please comment and vote
