Ok so you know the last episode of season four where Rick and Daryl get beat up by Joe or whatever his name was group? this chapter is going to take place after that, so just picture what happened in the show just no Daryl and this chap will make sense.

Rick glanced around the room, eye taking in everything from his sleeping son curled up on the worn down couch to Michonne who was constantly staring out the window hand on her sword if she should need it.

"We need to move soon." he whispered so not to wake Carl. Michonne cut her eyes to him and frowned.

"You need to rest." Was her comment causing Rick to sigh.

"Seems that all I've done is rest." He muttered harshly. She groaned.

"Are we really going to do this again. You were almost beat to death Rick less than a week ago. You need to rest." He narrowed his eyes on her and she smiled brightly. "It doesn't matter how many nasty looks you give I won't change mind now rest." He huffed and leaned back into the recliner he was in and closed his eyes.

"Hey Michonne." He called after a moment and she sighed.

"What?" He cracked a small smile as he continued to sit there with his eyes closed.

"Your a stubborn bit-"

"If you know what's good for you grimes you won't finish that sentence." He laughed softly.

.............

"Some one sliced thisin up real good." Daryl spat as he looked down at the body of a large man who was cut up all to Hell and back.

"This one was shot." Glenn called as he straightened. "Who could have done this?" He asked Daryl who simply shrugged as he too rose to his feet.

"No clue, tough bastards all I can say. They was three of em, one smaller than the other two." He said gesturing to the foot prints in the blood.

"Maybe it's Rick and Carl." Carol offered causing Daryl to glare at her. He hadn't wanted her to come on this run but she had insisted. Every since that night a week ago he had done his best to avoid her but she steadily showed up every where he was.

"Yeah and Michonne." Glenn exclaimed. "I bet it's them." He looked around the frantically before snapping his head back to Daryl. "Can you track them?" Daryl snorted.

"Does a bear shit in the woods?" Was his reply as he hoisted his cross bow up at the ready. "Lets move out."

..........

"Duck that hurts." Rick hissed as he limped down the side of the road. Michener glanced behind her and sighed.

"I told you we should have waited a few more days." Rick gritted his teeth and ignored her as Carl walked silently beside him hand on his hoisted gun.

"We should find a place to rest." He said glancing sideways at his dad. "You can't keep this up for much longer." Rick sighed and nodded his head. It wasn't long before they found and abounded van on the side of the road. They hung cloths and a blanket over the Windows and climbed in. Michonne had lowered the seats down so they all stretched out next to each other.

"Rest. I'll keep first watch." She whispered as she pulled part of the blanket back leaving just the slightest of cracks. Rick was too tired to argue and before he knew it he was fast asleep.

...........

"Hush now mama's got ya." Beth cued to the crying baby in her arms. Maggie rushed in with a bottle and Beth quickly stuck it in his mouth instantly quieting him up.

"Hes getting extremely fussy." Sasha said as she eyed Hunter warily.

"He only does it when Daryl is gone." Tyrese grunted from his position at the window. "Rednecks got that boy spoiled rotten." He flashed a smile in Beth's direction. Beth laughed softly just as Bob rushed in with Judith dangling from his outstretched arms.

"We have a serious problem." He stated causing everyone to stiffen. "Judy here dropped a bomb and it reeks." He said in horror causing everyone to relax.

"Idiot." Sasha muttered as she rose to her feet to deal with said bomb.

so I know it was short and hopefully it was better than last chapter was. I've been seeing my therapist frequently and I'm starting to feel a lot better about everything. I had a set back a few days ago, my cousin who's like my older brother, his wife just gave birth to their baby girl and they asked me to be in the room for her delivery. It was planned along time ago, when she first found out they were having a baby so since I had already made the promise to Chris my brother/cousin I stood by his and his wife's side as their baby came into this world. It was the most beautiful scary thing I have ever witnessed and it really hurt seeing them hold their baby but In a who it made me realize that every thing happens for a reason, and I know one day ill have children and hopefully I'll be as strong as my cousins wife was during the delivery. I think that I need to just live for today and not worry about yesterday or tomorrow.
as my therapist told me (and yes he soooo stole this from kung fu panda lol) yesterday is history tomorrow's a mystery but today is a gift. So for. now on I'm going to take everything as best as I can and live for the moment. So starting sometime next week I'll be posting regularly on this story and my other I haven't done anything with in a while I might even start a few more but I will have scheduled days for updates. I'm going to try new things, and I'm quieting my job. They all look at me like I'm crazy anyways so might as well. Anyways thanks to ally readers for sticking with this story even when I didn't ill do better by it and by you. ;)
