“ colour me blue “ | CH. FIVE

---asteria walked through the train in discomfort, not really used to going in the train without Louis. Her eyes scanned for a seat as she roamed around. She was always socially awkward. Always depending on Louis whenever someone aproached her, so she was grateful when she found a vacant compartment.

Sighing, she slumped her body down and stared out the window. Wondering what Louis is probably doing at the moment. Of course, her soulmate have slipped in her mind one or two times. She couldn't help but think about him.

How until today, she had no idea what his name is. And everytime she woke up, all she can remember was his brown hair and tall silhouette.

She took out her notebook, where she had written all she could remember about him. And the dreams they shared. She found herself aimlessly flipping page by page, skimming the words she had written and the doodles she drew back in Ilvermorny.

Through the countless page flipping, Asteria began to doze off, in a dream where she was met with the brunette man once again.

---three days later, Asteria stood mouth agape at the sight in front of her. Truly, Hogwarts was a place of magic. The castle stood tall amongst the trees, making the view breathtaking.

She was in Hogsmeade, yet she still saw parts of the castle stinking out of the roof of each store. She couldn't wait to go inside.

"'Ello dere, I'm Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds in Hogwarts." A tall man with a lantern above his head have said.

"Oh, Asteria Williams, transfer from Ilvermorny," She nodded, carrying her case beside her.

"Dumbledore's told me about you," the giant said with a smile, "now come along, you'll be late fer dinner." He said, taking one of Asteria's luggage and beginning to walk away with Asteria trotting behind him.

"Come along, the carriage's this way," Hagrid said.

They stopped by one and Asteria couldn't be more amazed when it began to move. Ilvermorny was magical, but Hogwarts was something else. And she couldn't help but be excited at what's yet to come.

They stopped in front of the gate, and Asteria was once again overwhelmed by the change. It was very different from Ilvermorny if she was being honest.

At the Great Hall, everyone was silent as they patiently waited for the new student, Asteria, to come. So when the doors opened, everyone stared expectantly at Asteria and Hagrid. Whispers were heard across the  room, Asteria couldn't help but squeak at the sudden attention.

Hagrid chuckled, "Don't worry Asteria, Hogwarts is yer home now."

Once they reached the front, where McGonagall was waiting for them, Hagrid separated from her as he began heading straight to where the teachers ate, sitting beside an empty chair where McGonagall was suppose to be seated.

Asteria offered her a polite smile before settling herself down the lonely stool. McGonagall placed the ratty hat on Asteria's head, where it began to morph its features into a face.

Hmmm. . . Wampus and Thunderbird, ey? It grumbled in her mind, making Asteria slightly jump up from her seat, causing a snicker to echo around the room. Asteria blushed before shifting herself uncomfortably on the small chair.

Yes. . . You'll do good in Ravenclaw, that's for sure. It said. Asteria knew about the houses of course, she read about them on her way here. Yet reading while in a ship did made her a bit sick. But she knew Ravenclaw was the equivalent of Thunderbird, she wasn't really sure.

But you'll do good in Gryffindor as well. Asteria gulped at that assumption. Hmm. . . Picky, picky. . . I know. The hat hummed.

Asteria shut her eyes tightly, praying at where she might go.

GRYFFINDOR!

As if on cue, the table on her right began to cheer loudly. Asteria gulped before shakily standing up and slowly walking to the table.

She sat beside a girl who had brown hair, the girl smiled cheerfully at her.

"Hi, My name's Dorcas Meadowes!" She exclaimed, sticking her hand out for Asteria. Not wanting to be rude, especially on her first day, she shook her hand.

"Asteria Williams," she said.

The two hit it off nicely, with Dorcas asking about Ilvermorny and Asteria asking about Hogwarts. Soon, their topics moved from school to boys.

"Well if there was one person I'd like to be my soulmate it would have to be. . ." Dorcas trailed off, before her eyes landed on someone and she sighed dreamily, "Remus Lupin."

"Remus--who?" Asteria asked.

"Remus Lupin," Dorcas said, "one of the hottest guys in Hogwarts. He's over there next to that blonde kid." Dorcas said, pointing at someone.

Asteria followed her finger seeing, it was him.
