Sowon's POV
We finished another hard day of promotions, going from this university to that university, doing festivals. We were all worn out when we came back to the dorm, but we all washed up because god knows how much we sweat.
"I'm so tired," Yerin mumbled. "Aren't all of us?" Sinb questioned. "Whatever. Umji, come here and help me cook some food," I called Umji, who came to me instantly. She helped me with the dishes, and soon enough the girls were sitting on the table, already ready to eat.
They started eating down the food, since they didn't have a chance to eat the whole day. The girls were done with the first bowl, and ate another bowl. I smiled proudly as the leader of the group.
"I'm full now," Yuju said, rubbing her tummy. The girls put away the dish and went inside their own rooms, doing their own business. I sat on the sofa, flicking some channels. I was tired, and eventually fell asleep there.
I had a dream, but I can't remember it now. It was a good dream, and fun too. I was probably in an amusement park, I'm not sure. Anyways, it was about 3 a.m when I woke up. I groaned as I tried to stand up.
I went on a night stroll, not putting on any cover. There were not much people. I liked the scene, and I eventually arrived to a park. There were about 4 people, not aware of me here. I sat down on a bench, taking in the fresh air.
I breathed in and out constantly, taking deep breaths at a time. I liked the silence, maybe I'm getting older and older each breath. It was a bit hot, considering that it was becoming summer every second.
A figure appeared in front of me. I knew the figure. "Hi Sowon, long time no see," Chanyeol oppa said. "Hello," I said. "You mind if I..." he said, pointing at the bench I was sitting. "Not at all," I said, scooting a bit to make space for him.
"So, how's your relationship lately?" he asked. "We're taking a break. All the media, it created stress for both of us," I answered. "I hope you get better," he said encouragingly.
We sat in silence, not much to talk about. It was honestly awkward, and I didn't like it one bit. "I should get going now," he said. "Okay, goodbye," I said, waving to him. He walked away, his tall figure slowly disappearing from my view.
I stood up and walked up to a nearby coffee shop. I bought a coffee and went on a stroll around the park.
Walking along the pathway, I came in ways with Chanyeol oppa again. "That's fast how we met again," I smiled at him warmly.
"I have something to say," he said. Confused, I nodded my head. He took a breathe in. "I can't get over you. Every time I try to forget about you, you just pop up in my head. I can't concentrate on work because of you," he confessed.
I stood there dumbfounded. My face was red, as well as his. "T-This is wrong. I have a boyfriend," I retorted. "But you guys are on a break," he responded. I shook my head, still not accepting him.
"I could really love you with all my heart. Please, can't you give me any chances?" Chanyeol oppa pleaded. "I'm sorry oppa, but I don't think I can. Just because Jin oppa and I are on a break, doesn't mean I could cheat on him," I said.
"He's cheating on you," he breathed out. "What?" I snapped. "I saw him with Nayeon. Most of the time these days. I'm just wondering how they didn't get caught," he said out loud.
I felt betrayed and lonely, and definitely angry. "I'll see you later," I said, then quickly took my way back to the dorm. I angrily dialled in the password and got in.
Yerin was on the couch watching TV. "Unnie you're here now? It 6 am, I'm hungry," she mumbled. "Not now Yerin," I said, stomping into my room.
I grabbed my phone and called Jin oppa's number. It ringed a few times before he answered.
