Request: Can I request for a Cheryl x reader where Cheryl notices you haven't been eating so one day she forces you to but then catches you purging in the bathroom and confronts you about it and helps you slowly recover. I know its an extremely heavy topic so I totally understand if you refuse to write it
a/n: This fic will focus on Cheryl helping the reader recover not the actual purging itself. I have no personal experience with the topic and I hope I do not say anything to offend. I know it's not easy but if you are struggling with an eating disorder please do not be afraid to get help.
Trigger Warning: Mentions of eating disorder
You were one of the few people Cheryl truly cared about.
When she noticed you not eating at lunch she tried to subtly confront her suspicions by constantly offering you food.
One day when accepted her offer you excused yourself to the restroom and with no one in there you entered one of the stalls.
Cheryl followed you into the restroom without you knowing and when she stepped inside she heard the sounds she was hoping she wouldn't hear.
A few days later the two of you were hanging out in her bedroom.
"You don't have to do that you know," she casually said to you.
"Do what?" you asked confused by her statement.
"Make yourself sick, you're pretty just the way you are."
"Cheryl, it's not that easy."
"So, what? I'm just supposed to sit back and watch the person I care about the most do that to themselves?" she said starting to get upset.
"I don't need any help," you said standing up wanting to leave.
Before you could walk out the door Cheryl grabbed your hand to stop you.
"Please Y/N listen to me, this isn't healthy and you're going to end up seriously hurting yourself. You need to see a professional about this, I'll go with you. You don't have to go through this alone."
This made you start to get teary eyed, "You really mean it Cheryl?"
"Of course I do Y/N, please let me get you help. I'll be there for you every step of the way."
You agreed. Soon after you started seeing a therapist who guided you through the road to recovery.
Cheryl kept her promise, she was there for you every step of the way.
