Her long, black, hair flowed behind her,

She looked so beautiful.

I looked into her bright blue eyes

And knew that I loved her.

The blue in her eyes held

Every once of innocence she had.

I knew that she was the girl

That I was going to marry.

Then reality set in,

And our summer ended.

We grew apart.

Our love faded,

Much to my despair.

I still see her

When I close my eyes.

I still see her bright blue eyes.
