Finally, It's Saturday! I was just about to ask Emily what we were going to do today, when my phone started buzzing on the table. I went back to my desk to check who it was. To my surprise I saw the big boldest words and the top of my screen that said, "MOMMY!" I quickly picked it up and started our conversation:
Mommy: Hello?
Hope: Hi mommy! It's me Hope!
Mommy: Hope! I have some good news to tell you, sweetie.
Hope: What is it?
Mommy: Your father and I will be arriving at home!
Hope: Really?! O...M...G!!!!!
Mommy: Yes, really. We'll be home tonight at 10:30 p.m. or sometime around that.
Hope: Okay!"
And I hung up. I was so excited I almost screamed! I went to Emily's room and told her the good news. Emily, just as enthusiastic as me, replied, "OH MY GOSH!!!!!" I was still soooo excited for tonight! For the time being, Emily and I did some " Welcome Home," shopping.
