The Daughter of a Slytherin Prince. (Snapes Daughter. Completed.)

Getting to Know.

They appeared in Snape's living room. He invited Sophie to sit down and started making tea.

"So Sophie are you okay?" "Yes," She says quietly. 

Severus asked her many many questions and she answered them all. He kept trying to convince Sophie to let him take a look in her mind to see all that happened and after trying and trying she let him. He puts his wand up to her head and whispers "Legilimens"

When he gets in he sees some kind of wall and it is very weak. He breaks it down easily but feels somewhat guilty for doing it and he doesn't know why. He is looking through strands of memories until he finds one of her and Bellatrix.

"Come on Sophie use mamas wand and kill him or I'll kill you," Bellatrix says roughly. Sophie's eyes are giving off a bunch of mixed of emotions. He can see that she's sad and very scared. As he is watching this there's a loud explosion sound. The wall next to them gets blasted open and Kingsley Shacklebolt and Alastor Moody run in.

Moody starts dueling Bellatrix and Kingsley grabs the muggle and Sophie and apparates them to the Ministry of Magic. Once they are there Kingsley says "Don't worry everything is going to be alright you both safe now."  He tells them to follow him and starts heading to the Minister of Magic's office. 

Once they get there he knocks on the door and gets the signal to enter. They walk in and him and the Minister talk. They end up obliviating the muggle and sending him back home then they send Sophie to the orphanage. 

Severus pulls out of her mind. "That's all I will look for now Sophie but I want to look later. Now I will show you your room and you can stay in there until dinner if you want. I got your stuff and put it in there and I also got you some clothes." He shows her to her room and goes and sits down in the living room and starts to read a book.

An hour later he goes to check on Sophie. She doesn't hear him come in. He walks over to where she is sitting at her desk. She was drawing a picture of him. He thought it was cute. Wow, he actually thought it was cute. He kneels down by the chair and points at the hair and says "My hair isn't that long. She jumps a little "You scared me" "Sorry" Severus mumbles "Besides the hair, I would say that picture is pretty accurate."

"Thank you," she says confidently. 

"You hungry?" "Yes," she replies "Okay I'll go make dinner" He gets up and walks to the kitchen and decides he will just make something simple. After looking at his fridge for a little bit he decides on hamburgers. He just pulled out the meat when Sophie comes out of her room screaming "Can I Help!?!"  

"Why yes you can" They work together and make the dinner and when it's done they both sit at the table and eat. After dinner Severus colored a picture with her then they made chocolate chip cookies. 

After eating the cookies it was 8 pm and they both settled down on Sophie's bed and were reading stories out of The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

Sophie ended up falling asleep before the end of the story and Severus slowly slid her off of him. He put a bookmark in the book and turned off the light "Goodnight Sophie"

He was ready to go to sleep and was in his bed. He smiles to himself

"I don't think this is going to be that bad after all" He turns off the light and went to sleep.

 Authors Note

Just letting you know that the next chapter is going to be two years later (I think) right after Hogwarts got out for the summer. Sophie is now ten and she has now gotten over all the shy stuff but no one knows about her except The Malfoys who didn't even know about her in the first place (Bella kept her a secret) and Severus.
