Camp was filled with the usual noise and clatter. The sun was shining bright and the atmosphere returned to its usual aloof self. However, if anyone had a problem they would come to Nova. From arguments to a dent in the gate, the camps problems became Novas.

"I need you to thatch the drop ship and you can...." Nova was in the middle of giving orders when a proclamation disrupted her.
"Hey everyone, they're back!"

Nova turned her ocean eyes towards the fence, watching the tired bodies emerge from the Forrest in a single line. Nova counted the people in her head, making sure nobody was missing.
"Clarke, Finn, Bellamy.....Raven??"
Novas heart stopped. It has to be a dream. I've eaten some rotten berries.
"Nova?!" Raven asked, finally spotting the small brunette amidst the other teenage body's. A smile etched it's way onto both of their faces as they sprinted at each other.

They smashed together in a series of flaying limbs and whispers.
"I've missed you sooo much!" Nova murmured into Ravens ear, tightening her arms around her best friend.

"I've missed you too shortie." Raven smiled back, releasing her arms and staring at Nova. Re-remembering her best friends face. Her family.

"Ho...how are you even here?" Nova asked disbelievingly.
"Can you remember that pod on station nine? I fixed it." Raven said proudly.
"We always said we'd fly that thing to the moon." Nova reminisced with a smirk.

Nova finally took in her surroundings and discovered everyone was staring.
"Come on, you can share a tent with me and Oct..."
"Actually Nova, I need your help." Raven said motioning to Bellamy. Nova stared at the eldest Blake with a furrowed brow as she wondered what he had done.

On the way to the lake, Nova and Raven walked arm in arm alongside Finn and Clarke. Nova knew that Finn would have to tell her about Clarke at some point but she had just got her back. Today was not the right day.

Nova had filled Raven in on the events that had taken place on Earth while Raven had told Nova about Bellamy. He shot Chancellor Jaha and hijacked the radio. To say Nova was angry was an understatement.

"Can I talk to you?" Bellamy asked quietly. Nova was waist deep in murky water, scouting for that missing radio.

"I'm busy Blake." Nova spat, never taking her eyes away from the water. That was until Bellamy grasped Novas upper arm gently, forcing her to look at him. "Please."
Nova nodded reluctantly and allowed Bellamy to guide her out of the water and towards the shallows of the river.

"What'd you want to talk about Blake? The weather? Quantum Mechanics? Or how about the fact that you shot the chancellor!" Nova yelled in a hushed tone.
"I did it to keep my sister safe. Just like you would have done for Raven or Finn." Bellamy excused.
Novas hard face softened at the mention of her best friends names. She looked across the lake to a smiling Raven and Finn.

"Over 300 people are going to die today Bellamy, if we don't find this radio. I need to get back to work." Nova said, turning on her heal and walking away. Bellamy latched onto her hand, sending an electric impulse up both of their arms.
"Look, I'm sorry, for last night." Bellamy apologised although he didn't know why he felt the need.
"Nothing to apologise for." Nova said cooly, taking her hand away from his and walking back into the lake. Bellamy stared as the small brunette walked away from him and found he felt a strange pang of sadness emerge.

"Hey, I found it!"
Nova ran to the boy who pulled out a dark shape from the water.

Raven took a hold of the device, examining it closely and holding it out for Nova to look.
"Can you guys fix it?" Clarke asked optimistically.
"Maybe, but it would take half the day just to dry out the components and see what's wrong with it." Raven concluded.
"It would be faster if we had an electrical heater." Nova fantasied.
"It's too late." Bellamy spoke sadly.

"Do you have any idea of what you did? Do you even care?" Clarke fumed.
"You asked me to help. I helped."
"300 people are going to die today because of you..!"
"Clarke, cool it, he knows." Nova defended, surprising herself and Raven who gave her a pointed look.

"Wait, we don't have to talk to the Ark, we just have to let them know we're down here right?" Raven said, smirking at Nova as the duo passed knowing glances.
"Yeah but how do we do that without a radio?" Finn asked.
"Rocket fuel?" Nova said with a smile.
"Rocket fuel." Raven replied back.

By nightfall, Raven and Nova had worked tirelessly to set up and create the flares. They had easily fallen back into pattern and their usual routine. Both of the geniuses working hard and having a great time doing so.
"Okay, that's the last of the fuel." Nova said, tying the remaining  fuse to the last flare.

"Ready to makes some fireworks." Raven smirked.
"Ready."

Minutes later the flares were pointed up at the atmosphere and ready to take flight.
Nova stood excitedly in the crowd, ready to see hers and Ravens creation come to life.

"3!2!1!" Nova yelled at the top of her lungs with the rest of the crowd and held her breath as she watched the flares zoom into the darkness, leaving behind a trail of burning light.

A heavy arm was placed around Novas small shoulder. She peered up to find Bellamy with a smile plastered to his face.
"You did a good job."
A soft smile played into Novas lips as she wrapped her arms around Bellamy's waist and nestled her head into his arm.

"I don't know what's happening Bellamy."
"Me either."
A blissful silence surrounded the pair as they watched the flares make their way across the sky.
