Epilogue.

After the, lets say 'almost' perfect, wedding of Felicity and Tom they went on their honeymoon. Since they didnt know where they were going they were trilled. Turned out they were going to Hawai for three whole weeks. While they had the time of their lives, back home, in England, Michael and David were still trying to figure their 'new' relationship out. David would take Michael on dates when Michael didnt have to work and Michael would drop by at the cafe David worked now if David had to work and Michael had the day off. They were stronger then ever and were happy that they found each other again.

When Tom and Felicity got back from Hawai they had the greatest news, Tom had been signed by the same record label as Michael as a artist and not a opening act anymore. He was going to record an album and would be going on tour soon. The four friends couldnt be more happy at that moment. But of course soemthing, or shoudl i say someone, had to ruin it. Not in that exact moment but on the moment what meant the most to them, mostly David and Michael though.

You see, Jake was still out there, although he didnt know who he had worked for a month ago, he knew it wouldnt be good for Michael and his career since there had to be pictures and proof of them being together. he didnt question it, as long as he got the money after he had 'broken up' with Michael. Untill this day he hadnt heard anything about all of the things he did and he was happy about that becasue seeing Michael this happy with David made him happy, he didnt like to admit it but he really cared for Michael, he learned how the boy felt while being on tour without somebody to love. Although he never really 'loved' him he was happy that Michael finally found where he was looking for.

*A year later*

Tom and Felicity are about to leave for Toms first tour and David is moving back in with Michael. Everything goes perfect for the two couples, ofcourse they had their ups and downs but thats normal, at the end of the day they love each other nonetheless. Michael is still recording his new album and now he has new found inspiration to write new songs, ofcourse he didnt tell David that he was the cause of it.

When Tom and Felicity are gone for about three months when Michael notices that David is starting to act weird, distant almost. So he calls Felicity for advice but she just tells him to talk to him and that he shouldnt worry, its probably nothing. Of course Michael isnt convinced and starts to worry even more. When he confronts David with it he just says their is nothing wrong and that he loves him.

Michael cant take it anymore and is about to explode when David comes up to him and says they are going on a date, its nothing new that David suddenly comes up with the idea to go on a date, so Michael pulls on his shoes and his jacket and they go. Its cold out, since its snowing, and Michael snuggles up under Davids arm. They go to the mall, David tells him that they are going out for dinner, and Michael gets excited. When they enter the restaurant he gets the feeling he has been there before but he just shrugges it off. They get seated and get a bottle of wine. Michael askes David what all of this is but he just says 'cant i spoil my boyfriend?' and smiles. The dinner is amazing, there is one thing Michael doesnt know though and thats his suprise. You know, Michael recognizes the restaurant because its where thye had there first date all those years ago, only he doesnt know yet. When David excuses himself to go to the bathroom Michael doesnt think much about it because why would he? And when a waiter comes to him and gives him something, a letter to be exact, adressed to him, thats the moment he gets confused. Of course he opens and reads it, its for him after all, and when he reads what it says he cant believe it.

Dear Michael,

To others you are Mika, the famous pop star. Known globally and adorred by everyone. To me, you are so much more. You are the love of my life. I mean, its destiny isnt it? Losing each other to find each other again! Just remember you are my everything and you are perfect. Just like your song 'You are the Origin of Love'...you really didnt think i would find out you wrote that about me? Just os you know i am honoured. You probably think this letter is stupid and cheesy but i dont care, i just wanted you to know how i feel. I love you so much! You brighten my days and you make me happy (see what i did there ;D). I never want to lose you.

Michael doesnt care he is in the middle of the restaurant bawling his eyes out, he doesnt care about the looks he gets, he only cares about David who would do this for him. David walks back to the table and smiles at him like nothing just happend. He just asked Michael if he is okay what Michael answers with an 'of course not you idiot! come here and kiss me'. They kiss and continue there dinner, the feeling of happiness and love not leaving Michael for a second. after the dinner they walk through the mall, which is still crowded at the late hour. Michael wonders why but soon he finds out, they are going to decorate the big christmas tree in the middle of the shopping centre. David looks at Michael and askes if Michael wants to help. Michael agrees and they start to help. David gets a few decorations, one of them being a special christmas ball, and gives them to Michael. Michael puts them in, one by one, saving the ball for the last and the moment he wants to hang it on one of the branches he sees it, its not a regular christmas ball, he looks at it closely and he sees it has the ability to open. And thats what he does, he opens it and when he sees whats inside it he almost drops it. A ring, an engagement ring. He quickly closes it and turns around and nudges David, who is talking with someone. Michael doesnt know of course that David is watching him the whole time already and that is HIS ring. David asks Michael if something is wrong and Michael tells him what he just found out and shows him the ball with the ring in it. Michael looks around if there is someone who lost this and is looking for it and while he does so he is oblivious to the fact David gets down on one knee with the ring in hand. So when Michael finally turns back to look at David and he sees him on the ground on one knee, he think he just got a heart attack. David smiles at Michael and says: 'you really thought someone would lose this? i gave it to you on purpose silly'. Michael things he is imagining this because how can be someone be this perfect. Of course he says yes when David asks him to marry him. He isnt going to let him go.

Thats almost two years ago now. And today, Michael is going to marry the love of his life; David. Michael is standing in his room of the hotel where the wedding is going to be, just ficing his tie, when Felicity burst through the door. She walks up to him and he can see the tears in his eyes when she scans over the black suit he is wearing. Just a second ago she was with David and he is wearing the exact same only the suit is white. Michael insisted David to wear white, nobody questioned it and David was happy to agree with it. “You look so handsome.” Felicity tells Michael while hugging him. “So what you are trying to say is that i dont look handsome every day?” Michael teases her and she just slaps him, playfully of course. They talk for a bit, Michael forbids Felicity to cry, when Tom walks in telling them its time.

The wedding is perfect, black and white just like Michael wanted it, and he is now able to call himself Mr. Filan. The wedding recepsion was nice, wiht food and drinks and just happy chattering with friend and family. The party on the other hand was a big deal for Michael, since he had a suprise for David, and he was nervous. Their first dance was on a song, and the surprise, Michael wrote and sings. David doesnt know so when the music starts playing and they start playing he is speechless. Now everybody knows why Michael wanted David in white. When they return from their honeymoon they get the most unpleasant surprise ever. Headlines which say ‘Michael cheating on husband’ and ‘Something you hiding Mika?’. In the magazines there are inteviews with Jake and pictures off the to off them together. In the interview Jake states ‘i love him so much’ and ‘i cant believe he married another’. Michael is furious but David is there to calm him and reassure himm thats its all gone be okay. This is yet another obstacle Michael and David have to face. But in the end they are still together and stonger then than ever.
