Chapter Seventeen-Amber

Me and Russ have been insatiable over the weekend am surprised am not walking like a penguin I chuckle

Russ is in the bathroom and I grab his phone to take a picture of me for his screensaver... fixing myself,I get the camera app up ready to take a picture and his phone dings with a text...

Curiosity get's the best of me and I pull his text app up and see different text notifications from different women... I don't click to read them as he'd know I've read them...he's also had calls who have left voice messages... my heart drops at the thought of Russ cheating on me...of another cheating on me...

Russ chooses that time to open the bathroom door and i quickly put his phone back down where it was...he comes out with a towel wrapped round his waist and he's rubbing his hair dry with another towel... he's still wet from his shower which makes his gloriously sexy body glisten,I bite my lip swallowing back a moan of appreciation at the man before me...

"Hey baby...was that my phone making that noise" he grins at me and my heart squeezes at the thought of losing him

"Yeah,I think so" I tell him with a shrug

He grabs it and walks back in the bathroom with it...

I quickly get dressed,I can't be here....I can't!!

"Babe...am gunna go,I've got work in the morning...I'll call you later" I shout

Russ shouts "babe! Wait I'll drive you" he shouts on the other side of the bathroom door

"No it's fine,your busy....I'll call you later okay,see you" I call out amazed I kept my shit together

Running out the building,I manage to pull a cab and go home...

I arrive home paying the driver,opening the door mum shouts "There she is...I thought we'd of had to phone the police or something...we haven't seen you all weekend,where've you been?" She asks "and don't say Eva's coz I know you haven't,ava said you haven't been there since Friday..." she asks

"Where's dad?" I ask "Work?" I add

Mum nods "stop avoiding the question amber,tell me" she asks

"I met someone,it's Justin's best friend...I've been sort of seeing him for a bit" I tell her

"And you never said anything" mum gasps her eyes show hurt

"It's no big deal mum... we've gone out a few times,that's it" I tell her trying to keep a straight face "am gunna go get my head down,got a busy day tomorrow" I say with a forced smile

"Okay babe" mum says sadly

I sigh sadly making my way to my room and collapse down on the bed...

I get my phone out and text Eva

Me: "Hey bitch.... hope all is okay,I'll check in with your ass tomorrow! We'll catch up! Miss your face 😘😘😘"

My heart leaps at the possibility of it being Russ...I look and it's a reply from Eva...

Eva: "Hey bitchface...got a shit ton to tell you! Miss your face too! Love you ❤️😘"

I smile at my best friend's reply

Me: "Love You too ❤️😘"

Russ calls and Texts me but I ignore them all and I silently cry myself to sleep...
