"What was she doing in Sefton park all by herself baby? I ask amber
Her eyes close for a moment and then she opens them again only this time she has tears brimming in her eyes... fuck,if only I could hold her comfort her.... so I do the next best thing and reach for her hand entwining it with mine and give it a little squeeze,just so she knows I'm here for her...
She sighs and smiles sadly "Apparently her and pop's had a heated argument about her and Justin,mum said that pop's heard noises coming from Eva's room...So pop's pulled her up about it,saying that aslong as she lives under his roof they can go elsewhere if they wanna have it off" amber shakes her head "naturally Eva,got upset about that...told him that she'd start looking for a place to live and stormed out" she sighs with tears coming down her face
I squeeze her hand and let go as we approach the hospital,finding the nearest spot I park and amber legs it out the car running into the hospital with me running after her....
I find her at the receptionist desk "Please she's my sister" she sobs as the receptionist types furiously trying to find where Eva is...
"She's been taken to theatre for emergency surgery,her boyfriend and your mum and dad are here already" she informs us and tells us where to go
Amber's off running again until we come to the waiting area near the operating theatre...
Eva's dad is sat on one of the plastic chairs with his hands over his head,her mum is soothing him by rubbing his back
I look round to find Justin prowling outside the operating theatre doorway... the man's a mess
Amber runs to Paddy and Ava "Pop's...Ava" Amber croaks and paddy looks up and he breaks down going to her and she hugs them both....
I walk over to Justin,his eyes are wild...tears are coming down his face he's saying something over and over as he just stares
"Justin my man" I say
He head snaps up and I smile sadly at him instantly he's in my arms crying "I can't lose her russ" he sobs " I've only just found her"
Wrapping my arms round him in a big tight man hug...my heart breaks for him,god knows what I'd do if it'd happen to amber....
"She'll be okay man...she'll pull through,she's a fighter" I tell him
"Fuck! When I got the call before,I thought it was joke a sick fucking joke...the man that stopped them phoned the last person on the dial list and they explained why they had Eva's phone... I went sick everywhere man,ran to Eva's house crying..." he sobs again "I can't lose her Russ, I can't...I fucking love her man!! She's everything to me" he croaks
"Justin" I hear amber say
He pulls away from me and looks at amber who tries to smile to reassure him but her lip trembles and she breaks down as does Justin and they end up in each other's arms crying,so I do what anyone would do in this situation... I throw my arms round the both of them,giving the both of them comfort...
I went down the cafeteria to get everyone a drink and returning a woman comes out the operating theatre with blue scrubs on "Eva Murphy" she asks
