Christmas day and I arrived at Renee's at about 2pm.
Pippa : Hey! Sorry I came early, I wanted to help you cook dinner
Renee : Oh thank God. My husband is taking the kids to the mall so I am alone.
While cooking and preparing...
Renee : Oh I forgot to tell you that Lin and Jonathan are joining us too
Pippa : Oh great! The more the merrier right?
Renee : Totally
Pippa : Just sad that Jazzy won't be able to join us
Renee : I know!
At about 6pm we finished cooking. Minutes after, her kids and husband arrived.
Renee : Welcome back! This kids, is Aunt Pippa!
Pippa : Hey kids!
Kids : Hiiii!
Alexis : Nice to finally meet the great 'Amelie' and 'Eliza'
Pippa : And nice to finally meet my 'sister's' other half!
Renee : Okay kids, get ready for dinner okay.
Alexis : And I will too.
At about 7pm Renee and Alexis started letting the kids open the presents. While I was watching them, a complete family, it made me think of my daughter. I wish I could give that to my daughter when she was younger. Her meeting her father would be the best present for her.
A while after their gift-giving, Lin and Jonathan arrived
Lin : Merry Christmas everyone!
Alexis : Merry Christmas!
Jonathan : We bought gifts! For the kids...
Pippa : None for us?
Jonathan : Sorry, you're old now
Pippa : Ouch! Merry christmas to you!
Renee : You don't have a gift for them too Pippa, so it's a tie
Lin : Ouch Pippa
Pippa : I'm sorry, I didn't know you two were coming so the gifts we're only for the owners of this house.
Benjamin : Mommy, we're hungry!
Jonathan : Yeah mommy, we're hungry!
Renee : No, don't. Don't do that again
Pippa : Hahahaha
Dinner...
Renee : Pippa, you called Mira yet?
Pippa : Yeah but she won't answer my calls
Jonathan : She angry at you?
Pippa : I don't think so. Our last conversation was on the last night of previews
Renee : I'm sure, she'll call you before christmas ends
Pippa : She better
Lin : Who's Mira?
Renee : Her-
Pippa : Someone important in my life that you don't need to know about
Lin : Why not? I mean Jonathan knows her and we have known each other longer
Renee : Wait-what?!
Jonathan : Yeah...
Renee : What do you mean, you have known each other longer?!
