"You have got to be fucking kidding me," I rolled my eyes. "What in the actual fuck is wrong with you?"
"Listen, I don't want to go either. It's just the best option for us right now," Jason tried to explain but I wasn't listening. Everything that came out of his mouth was stupid.
"You should've never came back," I pushed his shoulders hard as I could feel my cheeks burn up. "You and dad should've stayed where you were and none of this shit would be happening," I pushed him again. "I was better off thinking you were dead than having you stand here in front of me." It pained me to say, but I knew it would hurt Jason more.
"I know you're angry, but-"
I started hitting him in the face, "I fucking hate you. I hate you so much!"
"Justin!" my mom yelled, but I continued to beat on Jason. "Stop it, get away from him!" she came over to us and pulled me away. "What is wrong with you?"
Tears clouded my eyes and as I opened my mouth to respond, Jason did. "He's mad because he has to leave his little girlfriend."
"Fuck you," I pointed, lunging at him and continuing to hit him. My mom pulled me back again and then raised her hand. I blinked just as it collided with me cheek.
Her eyes lowered and she pointed to the stairs, "Go to your goddamn room."
I had never seen her like this and I did just as she told. Shit, I practically ran to my room. I was embarrassed that she slapped me in front of my brothers. Once I got to my room, I slammed my door shut and went straight for my phone that was sitting on my nightstand charging. I yanked the cord out and called Kalel.
"Hi boyfriend," she answered and I immediately frowned because I was going to bring down her cheerful mood.
"Hey Kalel," a sigh left my lips as I sat down on the edge of my bed.
"I know that tone, what's wrong? Is it that bad?"
"They're saying we have to temporarily stay in London, which God knows how long that is. I'm not going, I really don't care. If my mom can stay then so can I."
"If your parents are telling you to go, I think you should listen to them."
"No, fuck that," I shook my head. "This is all on Jason. He got himself into this mess and he better get himself out. I have nothing to do with his bullshit and I am not going to change my plans because of him."
"Justin," she said quietly and I knew it was to make me calm down. "They need you to go because it does involve you. I mean, I know you can't forget the time you got shot by the person going after Jason. You're in just as much danger as him and Derek."
"But it's a good plan to have my mom stay behind? Your dad stopping by to check on her ever so often is not enough. She needs at least one of us here with her and it should be me!"
"Baby, I know you're upset."
"You have no fucking idea. I literally want to kill Jason to end this all."
"That would only put the target on your back."
"I'm not going with them," I reiterated. "I'm not leaving my mom or you. You're both the most important women in my life."
