My name is Katie. I'm a blonde and I'm only 5 feet tall. I'm short and I probably won't grow any more. Oh well.

My eyes are the best part about me. They are a dark shade of blue and I have been told no one else has the same eye color. I guess you could say I'm unique.

I'm skinny but not anerexic. I do eat and I mean I eat a lot but I play basketball. I'm the best on the team.

It's after basketball practice and I'm at home listening to my 5sos playlist. Oh how much I wish I could meet them.

I see a ad come up on the screen. I almost X out of it but I notice what it is. It says...

"You love 5sos and you want to meet them? Well now's your chance! Write an essay for our contest and you might win!"

I look at the details and click the link. Here's my chance. I could actually meet them.

I write my essay in less than 10 minutes because it's easy to explain why I should be the one. Here's what I wrote.

"Hello five seconds of summer. I realize that I will never win but I'll try.

You guys are honestly the best band ever! You guys are smokin hot to be honest. Haha I bet you guys get that a lot but anyways your music helped me through a lot.

It was my way out of my stressful life. I would listen to your music and only your music and I would forget about everything. The bullying. The breakups. The people who cheated on me. The people who told me I wasn't good enough. When I listened to your music I forgot about the slits on my wrist.

I also know that when you guys weren't famous I listened to you then too. Actually I was the first person to tell you guys that you were amazing and should some how get famous.

I guess you are now. But that means you won't notice me at all. To you guys I'm just a fan and it hurts thinking about not being able to be with you or talk to you. Loving people you can't have hurts your heart. But listening to your music just makes me forget about that too.

I will always love you guys even if I don't win this and even if I don't get noticed. You guys will always be loved by at least me.

Always."

I enter my information and stuff and send it.

I really hope I can win this thing.

Who am I kidding. That would never happen.
