I scream and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. Do they not see 5sos standing right by me?!

"Sorry" I say and laugh.

They all laugh too and Bella fell to the floor laughing.

"Hey I'm Katie nice to meet you guys finally" I say.

"Hi I'm-" Ashton starts.

"I know who you are"

"of course you do love" Luke chuckled. "umm I found this slip on the ground" Luke says handing me the paper.

He hands me my slip with the detention times on it.

"Well someone has been naughty haven't they?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"Uhh yea long story" I say my mouth going a little dry all of a sudden.

I don't want to admit it but him calling me naughty is a huge turn on.

"Well you can explain to us because we are here to take you away from this hell and you can hang out with us all day.

"Oh my god really" I scream getting a few more stares.

"Yea let's go!"

We run out of the classroom and I leave my laptop and other stuff for people to clean up I still have my headphones in listening to 5sos and Calum comes next to me and listens too.

"You have an amazing taste in music" Calum says smirking.

"Really?" I say sarcastically giggling.

Luke looks back at us and says, "Ok that giggle was the cutest thing I have ever heard in my life."

I blush a little and all the guys look at him.

"Hey it's true. sorry" he says raising his hands in surrender.

We get to their car and I get in the back with Luke next to me.

"So how old are you?" Luke asks.

"17 and you guys don't need to say your age I already know"

The boys all laugh at my response.

"well where do you want to go?"

"My house. I live alone actually"

"Parents?"

"Umm actually they died in a car crash." I say holding back the tears but letting one fall.

"I'm so sorry that awful" Luke says wiping the tear. "hey shhh it's ok alright?"

He looks me right in the eyes and I feel electricity course through my vains I look away and nod my head.

"So is this your house?" Ashton says pointing to the first house he sees.

"Actually yes I'm suprised with your guessing skill"

"I'm just so talented"

"Hahaha well no shit I listen to you everyday! you think your not talented? If you say no I will punch you" I say to him.

"Ok ok I get it gosh! aggressive much?"

"Actually yes" I say.

They all laugh at me and I can't help but join in.

We pull into my driveway and run inside my house. We sit down on the couch and talk about ourselves for awhile.

"You know it's been an hour but I already feel a close friendship with you" Calum says and the guys agree.

"Wait hold on you mean you are actually going to start thinking of me as a friend?" I say suprised.

"Yea your really cool and don't talk about how were famous. in fact you never really brought it up"

"Well actually I forgot you were famous a little bit through the conversation. You are just normal guys actually."

With that they all run and pile onto me. I laugh and push them off.

"That is the nicest thing anyone has ever said" Michael said.

"Really? I just said you were normal which is a lie cause you guys are actually really strange but yea what's the big deal?"

"Well everyone likes us cause were famous and now we know you like us for us"

"Well yea of course I do"

"Aww thanks and we like you too" Ashton says.

I giggle which makes Luke laugh a little. Everyone looks from him to me. What are they thinking?

"Well I have one question in your essay you talked about cutting and bullying and stuff can we talk about that?"

"Yea ok when I said being cheated on I was referring to the last 3 guys I dated that cheated on me. All my other boyfriends dated me because I had a "nice ass" and stuff"I say putting quotation around "nice ass". "never for me just my bum. But then bullying. that started last year and it was because someone told everyone that I have had sex with everyone who was a senior. they called me slut and whore and stuff. between all of that my parents were gone. that's when the pain hit and the cutting started."

I didn't realize I was crying until Luke was wiping them away. Luke had tear stained cheeks and so did the other boys.

They grabbed my wrist and looked at them them started crying again when they saw the new fresh cuts from 2 days ago.

"When did these come?" Calum asked in between tears.

"Two days ago" I say still sobbing.

"Hey hey shh it's ok Kate your fine shh" Luke said rubbing my back.

Everyone slowly started to stop crying.

"Please stop" Ashton said.

"I try to! it just doesn't work"

"Well do it for us Kate. Do it for me" Luke says staring in my eyes again. I nod and they look a little relived.

"Ok well I'll give you everyone's phone number and stuff do you have pens and paper?" Luke asks.

"Yea over there" I point to the island in the kitchen.

"Ok guys say goodbye and wait in the car I will be there in a second."

They nod say goodbye and hug me and tell my to stay strong and tell me they will be here for a few more weeks so I should text them when I need them.

Luke sets the paper on the island and now it's just us two. He walks over and hugs me.

"Be strong for me and text me if something happens ok?"

I nod.

"I want you to know you are beautiful and don't forget it." he says and kisses me on the cheek and leaves.

I touch the spot on my cheek where he kissed me.

Luke Hemmings called me beautiful!
