I woke up to someone shaking me awake.

"What?" i groaned.

"It's important!" Luke yelled.

I shot up and he smirked as he realized I'm only in my bra and underwear because I had to fix his 'problem' last night.

"What is so important" I interrupt his starring.

"Oh get dressed then come downstairs as fast as you can." he says and leaves to go downstairs. What could be this important?

I put on a pair if skinny jeans and a crop top tank top showing off my belly button piercing and my tattoos.

I brush my teeth and head downstairs. I walk down there to see Luke and his brothers and bandmates sitting on the couch with someone I have never seen before. I do admit he kinda looked like me.

"Ummm Katie?" the random guy asked.

"Yea but who are you?" I asked confused.

"I'm Jason" he smiled.

"And your here because..."

"Oh umm please don't freak out but I'm your......brother" he says quietly.

"My what?!" I scream.

"I know. I didn't know either but mum and dad left a note before they you know..... but it explained everything and they were on their way to tell you when they...died"

"Oh my god" I whispered and ran up the stairs and locked my self in a closet.

A brother? How? Why wouldn't my parents tell me? They were they just got hit by a drunk driver.

I remember that day when my mom called me and said she had news. Jason. That was the news. He was forced to have this pain too.

I just sit there and cry and think until I hear a knock on the door.

I unlock it expecting it to be Luke but Jason walks in. He closes the door and sits down and hugs me and rubs my back.

"I know it's hard Kate but your my sister and I can't just leave you like this I love you"

"I love you too it's just I'm so confused on why I never knew this and it's so much to get used to."

"I know but my reaction was the same as yours I found out 2 days ago and I locked my self in my room and shut everyone out."

"Ok I just need to calm down a little it's just all this brought up their death and it's been so long since I acknowledged the fact they were gone"

"I know sis it's awful but they are in a better place"

"I know"

We talk a little more and then we get out of the closet and go to the living room.

"You guys all good?" Luke asks.

"Yep" I say hugging Jason.

"Well I think I should get to my job but Kate I gave you my phone number so if you need something text me"

I nod and he kisses my cheek and leaves.

"I can't believe this" Calum says.

"You can't? imagine how weird this is for me"

"I know sorry that was mean of me to say"

"No it's fine I'm just stressed now"

"How about we go out to eat and get your mind off of it."

"Sounds good"

We all leave and go to Denny's. We eat breakfast then leave and when we get back me and Luke cuddle in his room.

"I'm sorry about all of this"

"It's ok"

"No I mean it's all awful for you almost all the time"

"I have you with me and I don't think this is awful it's just confusing"

He nods and we sit in silence.

Luke turns on his tv and we watch for awhile until something catches my eye.

"The bank downtown has had a robbery and there were people injured. we will give you more details later"

"Oh no" I say covering my mouth.

"What's wrong?"

"That's the bank Jason told me he worked at"
