Genesis's Pov
My name I like my name so much. I thought quietly sitting outside where Hanji now keeps me. I've never had a name before I don't think I really did have a name this means so much to me. I can finally learn, and I won't just be called an 'it' or she - titan. I have a name with a meaning.
'Hanji I love Hanji'
She takes care of me a lot, and she spends a lot of time teaching me things. She thinks I need to learn, I learned they're called the Wings of Freedom, and well also the Scouting Legion.
I learned about how they're are Cadets, Captain's, and Commanders. I've learned everybody's names including what their genders are so I can tell people apart from she and he. Except for Armin, he seems to look like both, but I am nice to him when he is training.
He comes outside to brush my hair and clean it. I would say I am the close to Hanji Armin, Bertholdt, Reiner, and Jean they like spending time when I am not busy they say I've been here for a long time five weeks I think so.
I lifted my head tilting it curiously. When I felt the sun on my face and I smiled a bit today.
I don't think Hanji is gonna experiment on me some days she comes and takes a big amount of blood from me. I'm surprised she can because they say titan blood dissipate That is why she takes so much
I was brought from my thoughts I heard my new name being called. "Genesis!" I heard and slowly looked down I got happy seeing Bertholdt.
I crouched down a bit, and Bertholdt grabbed my face giving me a smile, and a big hug it was shocking "Hi Genesis I need someone to talk." Bertholdt stated.
I slowly lifted Bertholdt up sat on my shoulder some more and Bertholdt held onto me and I sat back down "everyone is so focused on stupid things." Bertholdt told me and I blinked some more.
"Do you feel alone?" I asked quietly when Bertholdt slowly nodded.
"I can't connect with many." Bertholdt told me. "I feel small, I feel like I don't belong me and Reiner don't really do." Bertholdt muttered to me and I slowly raised one finger and patted his head making Bertholdt chuckle.
"I am more alone Bertholdt I am different from you." I told him when he smiled a small bit at me "you're a very special titan Genesis and you're making your way into hearts." Bertholdt told me.
I looked at him confused "but Eren isn't really fond of me." I stuttered and Bertholdt sighed a bit more and he spoke.
"Eren and Mikasa they had a past with Titans Eren thinks he can kill them all which will be really Genesis and I feel there's something's about you I feel like there is something is deeper with you," Bertholdt whispered making me more curious.
"I don't think you were always a Titan." He muttered and he gazed at me more "Bertholdt I hear you're shy?" I asked him when I saw his face go very red.
"Which one told you?" Bertholdt asked and the little noises left me. "Reiner does shy means quiet but that doesn't mean bad." I reassured Bertholdt.
I patted his head a bit making him gaze at me "find it in your heart Bertholdt and humans will forgive but they never will forget." I told him when he looked at me wide-eyed.
Bertholdt patted my cheek a bit and leaned his head on my cheek shutting his eyes and I did the same taking deep breaths in "thank you, Genesis, you are a better talker than most people here for a titan." Bertholdt muttered.
I giggled a small not "you're not a bad human Bertholdt just know that." I told Bertholdt sighed "if only it was true." Bertholdt whispered.
"Genesis lets take a quick a nap?" Bertholdt told me and I slowly nodded pulling Bertholdt away from my shoulder and held him into my hand his legs dangled a bit and I cradled him in my palm when he looked at me with wide eyes "sleep." I told him kindly when he nodded.
