Eren's Pov
I leaned on my fist deeply on my chin when I rubbed my finger on the table of the mess hall with a deep gaze on.
I've been super quiet for such a long while after I've had that strange experience with Jean after we had that task to do with Genesis a couple weeks back.
What did she mean she was gonna respect me from now on? I mean yes I did give her a name and yes I may hate titans with every single hair on my body. But Genesis I can't stop thinking about talking to her, her voice is so soothing for being rough and her skin doesn't burn it's so soft and her hair she's just so different.
Mikasa hates Genesis and I said I was gonna hate all Titans but with Genesis, I just can't hate her.
"Eren." I heard a loud exclaim and I jumped startled when I looked at Hanji who had slid down to sit with me Armin and Mikasa who kept her stoic face on.
I calmed myself down "oh hi Commander Hanji." I called nervous when she grinned.
"Hello Eren so I hear yet again for duty after training tomorrow you are working with Genesis one on one." Hanji squeaked when I got more nervous.
"Yes I am a commander but why are we doing so much duty with Genesis shouldn't we be training more for the new expedition?" I asked her when she giggled madly.
"It's not me who is ordering the duty Levi is actually. You would think I am I could care less if you guys spend time but my time with Genesis is so special its like I am a mother and she is my child I just got done explaining to her about our gear," Hanji exclaimed.
Armin lets a loud noise out "commander have you gone insane." Armin squeaked commander.
"Are you blind its dark outside she's sleep." I exclaimed when Mikasa was looking between us two.
Hanji let another giggle out "silly I just found this out the other day Genesis can move at night. She can sleep but moves at night can you believe that." Hanji exclaimed really loudly me and Armin gasped loudly.
"No way." I snapped hitting my fist on the table. "So way." Hanji called. "I have to see." I called fast getting up and Armin followed Mikasa as well.
"Eren wait," Armin exclaimed as I ran after Hanji wanting to see if she was telling the truth. We burst outside and I scanned my eyes looking through the torches and I gasped eyes wide there stood Genesis listening to captain Levi talk to her.
"How is this possible." I stammered out when Mikasa looked just a bit shocked herself.
"I found out about two nights ago when I wanted to experiment I came out here and she was awake so." Hanji giggled clapping "isn't she amazing my child." Hanji squeaked and my lips twitched a bit when I let a small smile go on my face.
"She's amazing Hanji I have to admit that," I called. I saw Genesis crouched down and Levi was touching her skin looking bored and like he always did.
Hanji ran over to Levi and I quickly followed because I wanted to know what was going on. I was breathing heavy when I caught up with Hanji who was talking to Levi. Armin and Mikasa joined shortly.
"Shorty what's going on?" Hanji asked when Levi made a small scoff out but nodded.
"I was talking to Genesis for awhile and she told me a name that I am slightly familiar with." Levi called.
I looked at the two of them curious "she spoke about a man named Richard she says he's full name is Richard Kingsley. He had a family in the underground city because his wife was a doctor name Tala Kingsley they had a son and daughter but their daughter who was twenty disappeared this was
fifty years ago." Levi called.
I gasped a small bit looking into Genesis's big brown eyes. "How are you able to remember that Genesis?" I asked when Genesis let a low hum out sounding almost like she was sad.
"It just came to mind when I was talking with Levi." She spoke out "what are you saying shorty?" Hanji asked fast almost worried and Levi pushed Hanji off him quickly.
"Genesis isn't a normal titan and we all know that I think there's something much deeper so much deeper. After training I'm uping the duty we're gonna figure out Genesis that means more cadets your duty is to help Genesis after training every cadet will be helping." Levi snapped out.
I saw Mikasa's glare darken more "okay sir." Armin called when I did same Genesis bowed her head a bit some of her hair falling in her face.
She looked sad and slowly I moved towards her and rubbed her large hand as best as I could "hey it will be alright Genesis."
