No one could have been happier than Eric when the storm had come to a rest.

The moment the announcement was made that they could leave the premises, he was the first to be out. The students were too shocked to react. The staff beside him were laughing their heads off.

It was scary and hilarious. They couldn't help but wonder if he had to meet someone....

....or running away to escape something.

But then again, that was just a passing thought and soon, everyone else followed suit.

Why bother about such things anyways?
______________

"Ah! Dear crummy house, you have no clue how delighted I am to return to you today!" Eric declared as he entered his house. "Who would have thought I'd ever say this?"

He went over to his table and pulled out a notice that he had received a few days back.

He had decided to open it later, but then just forgot about it.

Talk about procrastinating.

Ahem...anyways, he opened it and read it. And promptly closed it and shoved it into a drawer.

"Like hell I'll take over another class!" He grumbled. "I'm not going to substitute that hag's class! I bet she's never been in the class! Let them deal with her. Unless they raise my pay of course, or change the credit name."

He sighed and took out a tea bag and went to prepare some tea. He's going it need because he knew he had no other choice but follow the notice and take over Ms Stanley's class.

And just as he was cursing her to the heavens, the doorbell rang.

Eric raised his hands up in frustration, "Is it too much to just ask for some time for myself?"

But he still went to the door and looked through the peephole to see his young neighbour standing there.

Great...just great.

He opened the door. "Why hello there Oli-" She entered the house before he could finish.

And went right in, "Woah! Your house is....crummy." she said, giving him a pitying look. "You seriously need to get those walls repainted, but" she motioned towards the pale off-coloured walls, before pointing towards the roof, "first you need to seriously to get that spot of your roof fixed."

With that, she turned heel and went towards the door, which was still held open by a stumped Eric and promptly went out and off to her house.

.....what just happened? Was all he could think.

But he did look up and frown at that one spot where few drop of water leaked in. Damn, she was right.

Eric wasn't happy about it. He could have lived happily without, rather, pretending to have never noticed those things but now that a stranger came by just to point it out, he had no choice and felt compelled to get some repairs and painting done.

So much for a free weekend, Eric wept for the hours of rest he was going to lose all thanks to Olivia and Stanley, who decided to take an extended leave for her extended leave. How was it possible, he did not know but wished he did.

Just who is Ms Stanley though?
