He's evil incarnate. There's darkness in his eyes and deep in his soul. There's no room for warmth and love. He kills without mercy and lives without remorse at the many lives he's taken.
But yet he sings to help me sleep. He chased away the loneliness that plagues my heart. He gave my life new meaning.
They won't understand. They couldn't understand. But it's simple really.
After all, Beauty did fall for the beast in the fairytales.

This is also in the same universe as Forever Yours/Mine and Hunting/Biting Love and The Monster. This means that the main overall plot centers around the idea of soulmates but the main characters aren't vampires. I wanted to write something in the daylight setting.
