Online math classes are the freaking worse. I can barely do the math during in-person lectures

I glare out the window as my eyes follow the path of a single raindrop among the millions that are surrounding it. Hearing the sound of the rain beating against the window starts to drain me so I sigh and press my forehead against the window. I hate it here.
"You know there's probably a shit ton of germs and bacteria on that window right?"
"I don't care!" I cry out, pressing my head further against the window to prove my point. I feel a hand on my shoulder pull me back and I raise my head to look back out the window as I take a couple steps back. "This isn't fair."
"We knew that there was always the possibility of rain, it is almost November after all. The sky's been gray since we've been here."
"I know," I grumble, crossing my arms before turning around to face him. I can't stand to face the awful rain anymore. "But I thought it would be light sprinkling or it'll just rain hard at night so that it would be fine in the morning. It's pouring out there. There's no way that we can go see my dad now."
This isn't fair. I've gone every year to visit my dad ever since he was buried and yes of course it's rained before but it's never rained this bad. If it was going to rain this bad why couldn't it have waited until tomorrow or last night? I know I can't control the weather or ask someone to control it for me but I can't help feeling so helpless about the situation.
"Who says we can't go?" Rhazien asks, letting go of me and walking away. I frown and follow after him.
"What do you mean? It's raining too hard Rhazien and the wind's pretty strong."
He just shrugs and tugs on a bigger jacket. "So? It's just rain and wind. We have a strong umbrella and if that breaks, which I doubt it will because the wind isn't that bad, then we have hoods. Afraid of a little water?"
I scoff and point out the window. "That's not a little water! It's ten miles an hour away from being a hurricane."
He just rolls his eyes and tosses a pair of leather gloves at me. "Don't be so dramatic. We're here to see your dad and I never let a trip go to waste. Just wear thick ass rain shoes and cover your whole body with layers so you don't get sick. You did remember to bring rain boots right?"
I hesitate while watching him put clothes on. Is he serious? He's willing to go out in the horrible heavy rain just because he knows how important visiting my dad is to me? It's so sweet but I'm worried at the same time. "First of all, don't cuss. I have the shoes but are you sure?"
"Would I be putting on all this if I wasn't serious about going outside?" he asks, grabbing the umbrella from the closet. "Now go get ready. I'm gonna be doing some work on the bed while waiting so just let me know when you're done. Try to get ready in less than an hour though."
I wait until he opens his laptop before glancing over at my open luggage. Is it really okay for us to be going out in this weather? I know Rhazien said that he doesn't mind but that doesn't mean that he's actually okay with it. Rhazien is the type of person to actually make it known when he doesn't like or enjoy something so maybe he is okay with it.
Well, if he's okay with it then everything should be good. I start putting on more layers and grabbing my rain boots from the bottom of the luggage. It means a lot to me that Rhazien is willing to step out in the rain knowing how much it means to me to visit my dad so I don't wanna keep questioning his decision. Plus I know he gets annoyed if I keep asking for reassurance about his decisions.
