"No way!"

I flinch back at Bella's loud screech before clearing my throat. "Crazy right?" I sigh, wiping away eraser shavings from the paper in front of me.

Currently I'm on a call with Bella and Tracey, who are spending their last day together today before Tracey has to catch her flight. Bella messaged me a few minutes earlier asking if I was free to talk since it was going to be the last chance us three could talk at the same time for a long while. I'm pretty sure that there are video chats that allow for three-way calls but I didn't want to argue with them about that.

A part of me didn't want to wait any longer, so as soon as we finished our greetings to each other, I began to tell them about Rhazien and I, including the part where we were dating before graduation. They were both a little hurt that I didn't tell them about Rhazien right away but after explaining to them why I didn't want to talk about it for a while, they were understanding of the situation.

"Crazy? Are you kidding me? You got together with the insanely hot guy from the diner! Josie, that doesn't happen to just anyone," Tracey says.

"Forget that. He got you a hedgehog! That's so cute." At the mention of Amy Rose, I look over at the desk to see her sniffing around and playing with a little plastic ball with tiny holes on it. She just finished eating and I have a tiny bowl of water for her. I also blocked off the edge of the desk on the right side with some cardboard so that she doesn't fall off.

"How is? Is he treating you right? I know you said you've only lived together for a couple of days but you guys have been dating for a while," Bella says.

"He's good," I reply, frowning when I look at my half finished sketch of the garden. It would be a lot easier to do this if I explore outside so I can get a better idea of how good certain designs will look.

"Is he one of those secretly romantic types?" Tracey asks in a slightly teasing tone. "Does he ask you out for a candle-lit dinner dates? Roses everyday? Love poems?"

I shake my head before putting the pen. "No... I mean he's gotten me these beautiful golden roses but it's been spread out. And he's not really the romantic type," I explain, leaning against the leather.

It's fine by me that Rhazien isn't the romantic type. He's told me before that I'm his first girlfriend and he knows that he's my first boyfriend so it's expected that neither of us know what we're doing. Although, now that Tracey actually mentions it, I actually do want to do those cliche couple things that I've seen on TV before. Rhazien obviously isn't going to make the first move so I should do it.

"What should I do?" I ask, rubbing my forehead. "Rhazien doesn't seem like the type to like cliche dates so I don't know about doing any of that."

"Well what does he like?" Bella asks.

Probably something dark like death or something. "He doesn't like places that are too crowded. He actually just doesn't like people in general."

"So do something where the two of you can be alone." Bella says.

"Hiking at dusk?" Tracey suggests. "You said you guys are in a woodsy area right? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind taking you around as long as it's not too dark."

"No way. It's too scary."

"How about a movie date? Not like at a theatre but at the house. Does he have Netflix or DVDs?"
