Maja was almost shaking with fear, feeling as if her heart stopped beating for a couple seconds and made her made feel cold, frozen on her spot while a sheet of goosebumps spread out over her skin. "Finally I can have you again, you know how I don't like it when I lose control". He let a dramatic sigh tumble over his lips, leaning against back against his desk. Maja didn't speak, she just hoped this was still an awfully long nightmare and she'd wake up in Daniel's arms soon.

"Your boyfriend left a message for you, exposing your relationship to the whole world. He's so sad, Maja. He can't even smile anymore". Albin's tone was childish and careless, a fake pout on his lips. The fellow Swede turned the laptop her way, having the video Daniel had made with Anna ready to play. Her eyes glanced between the screen and Albin himself, even doubting if it was real and not some propaganda for her.

Albin's finger hit the spacebar and the video started playing. Maja gasped at hearing Daniel's voice and seeing his exhausted eyes. They had dark circles under them, his face expressionless. She bit on her lip not to cry as she heard his broken voice, how he called everyone to keep their eyes open if she was seen. "I learned to love her a lot", echoed through her ears and her heart ached at seeing him like this.

"Oh, Maja. He loves you so much". Albin said with another sigh, closing the laptop. "But not enough, don't you realize we were perfect for each other?". He stood up, his eyebrows knitted together as if he really didn't understand why Maja couldn't realize that. Maja's breath got shaky when Albin reached out and touched her face. She turned away from him, not wanting to look this man in his eyes anymore. His fingers went down her cheek to her jaw and neck, shoving her hair aside.

"Did he give you this?". Maja swallowed hard as his fingers reached the necklace she had desperately been trying to hide, the beautiful pendant tucked into her shirt at the back so it wouldn't catch all of the attention. She didn't reply, however his fingers tangled into her hair and yanked her head back rather roughly, causing her to whimper. "I believe I asked you something". She was scared by how easily he changed from gentle to rough, as if he had a personality disorder.

"Yes". She managed to get out, not daring to look up at him. His grip loosened, but due to her thick hair moving, the necklace shove around and exposed the gorgeous pendant that shined on it. Albin gritted through his teeth at seeing this, someone else giving his lady presents and making her feel special. He ripped it off her neck, throwing it to the floor with force, causing the diamonds to shatter on the ground into a thousand pieces, just like her heart at the moment it hit the floor.

Maja's blue eyes filled with tears, the only piece of Daniel she carried with her was now destroyed.

"You can't tell me you're crying about him. That driver was nothing and means nothing to your world, and you know why? Your world is mine". His words were harder with every letters that tumbled out of his mouth, her cheek stinging as his hand hit her face, causing Maja to let the tears fall down her face. "You know what? You can say goodbye to him, we'll make a video and send it his way so he can move on with his life as well, racing laps in a car". A sarcastic laugh followed, causing Maja to cringe.

She softly sniffled and sat down on the chair he almost pushed her on. "Camera". Albin held his hand open for the camera one of his guards gave him. He pulled the stick out to put it on the ground. Maja wiped her cheeks, one of them red and slowly blossoming purple and blue. She could see herself in the screen of the camera, eyeing the mirror that was behind her. Her eyebrows knitted together as the mirror reflected the window behind Albin and she saw two cars.
